Our kitty Sophie is 16 and is such a sweet girl. We adopted her mom while she was pregnant and were there when she gave birth to her and her siblings. We re-homed her mom and 2 of her siblings but couldn't bear to part with her or her sister Maggie. Maggie died earlier this year and now Sophie is being doted upon with only the softest beds and organic senior cat food. We call her "a distinguished old lady" and she is rightfully spoiled rotten.
Dr. Youn, I love your holistic approach to medicine and that you are such a huge advocate for rescuing furbabies in need. 💗 It is so important to adopt instead of shop for a new furry family member. And you are right, it is so rewarding as well. 💞 I have volunteered at many animal shelters and rescues getting them ready for their forever homes as well as fostering… and adopting as well. It is wonderful to see how a rescue is able to overcome all of their adversities and learn to love and trust humans again.

I was in no position to care for or house 3 90 plus pound dogs) I never got to say goodbye. I still cry over them. He was one of a pack of 3 rescues the other 2 passed away within a few days of each other at 17 years & 4 years. It's so hard. Wish another stray would find his way here as I'm in a rural area now & limited as to what I can handle. Bless rescuers everywhere. 💜🥀
