The idea of these videos is to give a "realistic" view on the whole process involved in making an instrument and not just the "fun" part, as well as showing how much attention to detail and time is necessary during every step of the construction.
These videos take a long time to make so comment, like, subscribe if you like them so I know to keep making more!

Got your violin making course. Best money I've ever paid for a course. Just finished a violin because of it. Thanks for all the work.

It's incredibly satisfying to see you smooth this out!
I wonder, how thick (roughly) do you make your cello plates? I'm paarticularly interested in the thickness of the channel around the plates?
Also, I have been thinking a lot recently about starting my next cello. I really hope I can find a way to do that, because I'm more motivated than ever to finally make myself an awesome sounding Strad B form :-D
Hence the thicknessing question, because I quite like what I've heard from your Strad models.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply...busy as always 😅
Thanks, I'm glad that you like my Strad model cello!
I'm one of those people who tends to lean on the thick side. But if you want, send me an email asking this same thing again, that way I can send you a picture with the thicknesses, if not it's kind of a mess explaining that here without a drawing or anything.
A couple of days ago I was checking where you were exaclty based as I couldn't remember and as I'm going to be in Oslo next week with the cello I thought it'd be the best opportunity to meet you if you were there, but sadly I see that you're not 😅

Haha, of course you are busy. But that's a good thing ;-)
And yeah, I quite like it! I also agree, I've made a few thinner instruments, and now I've made one a fair bit thicker and it sounds so much better. Not sure if you've seen it, it's the Titian violin I finished a few weeks ago?
      I will send you a mail 🙂
And yeah, unfortunately not... It's not far off though, I'm about an hour outside of Copenhagen.
But you may be passing through Denmark on the way to Oslo? I would love to meet both you and your instruments at last 😛
