Sadly only a shaddow of what they were 25-30 years ago. Michael completely blew his que on his intro. Sadly will stick to my Jesus Freak/Welcome to the Freakshow CDs.
It's like these guys have forgotten the whole point of this song. I'm glad I turned away from the watered down message DC Talk promoted and started reading the Bible for myself.
I grew up on these guys and their messages, it was great and there was nothing like it, Newsboys were a good 2nd band but DC Talk just had something so special. Hearing about this cruise I was blown away but the timing just didn't line up for me and so I looked up some videos and it's just sad, depressing even that this is what DC Talk has become, I was so hoping for a matured version of what we had in the 90s, not this. Even Phil Collins who nearly killed himself with alcohol is more true to his original work, the message, the feeling, the care and he's much older. I've seen all 3 of these guys live many many times since DC Talk broke up and loved seeing them, especially if they did some DC Talk stuff, in particular Jesus Freak with Toby but yeah, I dunno, hoping they do better on the 2019 cruise, I think they still have it - not just the musical part but the feeling and care for the message too, I'm just not willing to gamble it because if it's missing again I can't imagine enjoying the cruise very much at all.
@@aylenn1574 It's very easy to be critical of the DC Talk because you expect so much. With that said, it's been a long time since they performed these songs together and the expectation was extremely high. Just need to know that they individually understand and are very aware of the importance to put behind their music both as DC Talk and their solo careers. I'm sure they wanted to be better and do better on stage, things happen uncontrollably and being professionals they keep going. Although I see nothing wrong with smiling at your own mistakes.

Tranquilo forever young, que ellos son íconos de la música cristiana, pero ustedes siendo jóvenes no tienen la voz ni los temas como para dejar huella como lo hicieron los DC Talk.
A pessoa sem Jesus fica feia hein, o Kevin Max era o mais bonito do trio, e depois que começou com umas filosofias fora do cristianismo,olha que feio que ficou! Literalmente.
