They should be constantly stuffing both those calves faces full with adult female elephant dung, and should be rubbing/smearing dung all over the little calves faces and bodies to keep them feeling happy, warm, and safe. These people have no clue.

They are too young to be without their mama. Some amazing elephant carried these twins in her belly for over a year! They look like baby wooly mammoths!
They don't need their mother. They are fine as long as those guys constantly stuff the calves faces full of adult female elephant dung, and rub/smear dung all over the calves faces, and entire bodies to make them feel warm , happy, and safe. Rubbing dung all over a calf's face and body also protects them from the sun + parasites. This is why a a mother elephant always rubs her dung all over her calf. Without dung, a little calf will become very confused, extremely terrified, and eventually very weak and fatigued. Dung is all a calf wants and needs for happiness and survival.
@@davejohnson2085 WAW! And it's great for gut biome! They're very social beings, so they do need that affection as well, but I believe you are correct about how dung gives them so much relief, and helps aid in their growth!
@@lucreziavilante5993 Indeed. Dung is very important for a little calf's happiness, growth, and survival. At night, the keepers at the baby elephant orphanages will actually wipe some dung on the little calves trunk and lips to help them sleep through the night. The smell and taste of dung makes them feel happy, and relaxed.
