I don't know which ones you have used though, as the padding is ample on both of these, and a great breath of fresh air after rattling down from London on a rancid 800, even in first class. 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Self Reflection: (Forgot to post this with the upload) Oh boy. This would've been the most fun I had making a RUclips video in a long time apart from a simple thing: I was struggling to sort out the footage. But no matter, I got there in the end thanks to some archived videos I had of some extra 'pacers' and managed to fill in the gaps and produce something I feel quite proud of. I'm spoiling you with giving you two of these Railway Reviews in November, don't expect this to be the norm. Feel free to try and guess all the locations for the prize of Bonus Ducks once again :)

Not to mention the lack of bogies wreaked havoc on the track, especially the points. Regardless, as someone who dodn't have to travel on them regularly, I do have a soft spot for them, if only because they did save some lines from closure (and the fact it's pretty easy to feel which bit of track should be next up for renewal!)
I have only experienced a Pacer twice, 142047 twice in one day and I can't lie I love the things! Seats are comfy, bumpy ride could be annoying but I think it adds a good character, like you I have sensitive hearing but ngl I love the sound of the Leyland Leopard 680 on a Pacer! Overall fabulous trains! (Personal opinion)
To mention the "Pretendo Sprinters" class 153 and a 155 units that are a derivated design from Pacers, using the same bodyshell and Leyland built though. Even loco hauled stock was built as a prototype decades ago if you remember.
Sadly, the Telford steam railway now has two pacers contaminating its line. 144013 and 142058. Update, there is now a THIRD one for whatever reason... so sad..

My least favourite trajns in the world and so glad they are gone and even after travelling on one I don't want to get on another one but I can see why people like them and good for them
