You are good with people man. Don’t be so damn hard on yourself all the time. With that said I can relate to some of your pessimism about the current state of the world. Truth is we are incarnated here (in this current form)for just a blink of an eye. Be good to others and help when you feel it’s appropriate. That’s all really.
I loved the way Thurman was using that hammer with his right hand on the tree wedge while he nonchalantly let that powered up chain saw dangle in his left hand. He looked like he’s been chopping down trees as long as he could walk. He’s one cool mfer fo sho.
It looked like those wedges would take it the right way, but if you had thought of suggesting a weight on the end of the rope and having that guy (build like a pitcher) tossing the end up and over that branch, I think they probably would have gone with the rope.
There are Mennonites pretty much everywhere. They are Amish light. My barn was build by a family that live in a community about 20 miles from me. Fun fact: They even own a rooming house in Manhattan. There was a young engineer / mba I worked with who lived in "Menno house" for some months until he found the Wall Street job he wanted. EDIT: It probably doesn't matter, since this comment has better than 50% chance of takedown, but I just searched Menno house; they still exist, but the mission has upgraded from flop house for the faithful 40 yrs ago to selective, expensive, overnight. Had to happen.
At least I know you are still alive. These dudes took down TWELVE TREES. I had taken $500 out of the bank to pay forward on the job. When I asked what was fair, he said, "How does $200 sound?" Any tree company around here would have charged me at LEAST a grand for that job. So, do you need them to come down to Florida and do some work, or have you already bulldozed every tree you own?
Ssssssht, you must be amish... Are you a weirdo or just a moron? HE never insulted the tree cutters. I was sweating like a pig on the roast, even do i gambled on their 'knowing' how to cut a tree, 😅. 😋 🥰... hihi... peace, fellow earthling.
Haha, putting a rope on takes 10 minutes, AND suddenly you said it took only 5 minutes 😂. Gotta say this: I would say the same thing 😅. I could almost taste the sweat coming out of yah, 😰. This was a thriller video, amd i don't know if i can deal with another, 🫣...

I held my breath for 5 of the 7 minutes of this video.
I could tell they knew what they were doing.

Oh ye of little faith...they're Amish. Of course, it went in the right direction.
I need some Amish folks around here.

@@nealsonalhambra341 I imagine it's immaculately maintained and cleaned.
Did they take the wood? Dead tree firewood has it's place in the fire pyramid.
They are taking whatever ends up on the other side of the creek, I am taking the stuff on my side.
How much did that cost

Why are ypu insulting the Amish? They know what the heck they're doing!
