I remember a similar version got played at the funeral of my great uncle who died in 2020, who was a soldier in the Imperial Japanese Navy during WW2 (I think he served on the destroyer IJN Yukikaze)
Ah yes one of the only three IJN destroyers that survived the war

By far one of the most beautiful anthems. It has the imperial vibes all in it. Historic and ancient Japan, a lost warrior culture. I know the lyrics by heart coz its really my favorite anthem.
