I would not use the port intended for router bit as an appropriate place to anchor a circular cut - there are much better ways - ideally with a jig - to do that safely!
have you found if it can be table mounted? Also ive read the bushings are proprietary meaning you cant use other brands/generics as the adaptors are not common as well... Im in singapore so other than a makita that costs almost double this is currently my only option for the type of specs on this router(1/4", variable speed, plunge, entry level pro), not alot of information available..the makita can be table mounted so im trying to figure out if its worth the price difference
I would give you grief.... But you called it a wrench instead of spanner so it's all good lol. Btw I'm American with trailer park country accent so I gots no room to talk
@@black_dragon-carpentry the Bosch and Makita professional lines of tools are well regarded in South Africa. Only in the last couple of years has DeWalt managed to start gaining a presence. Bosch makes some decent drills and angle grinders. Mine see occasional but heavy usage. I try not to abuse (force) them and I do dust them off afterwards but so far they haven't skipped a beat. I have no experience with jigsaws but have heard that Bosch jigsaws are highly regarded. I hope this helps.
@@breakfixbuildimprove4326 ah naw Ient for routers lol. I won't use any jigsaw but Bosch. Right now I'm using the wood handled something 17 and the new cold with depth dial on the side ... Not a fan of that one

I agree. It was literally the first time I have used a router. I soon starting learnt about making jigs after that.

Still not even one chirp over the mispronunciation of router! :-D

Btw decent enough unboxing. Was curious about Bosch's other offerings.
@@black_dragon-carpentry hah, here we have pipe and monkey wrenches but also spanners and shifting spanners. Talk about confusing. :-D
