Synopsis: Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly "ungentlemanly" fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

Guy Ritchie is such a good director, People don't give him the credit he deserves.

HenryCavill and the Facial hair is the best part :)
I love that "get busy with the fizzy" is actual direction,
loved every minute. Henry and Alan were outstanding, along with the rest of the cast. and the mere fact that such an op was carried out for real in WW2 made it so much more of a delight to watch.
So many guns, so much fun fire, and no stupid accidents. Amazing.

Final got to see this thanks to some brilliant person that uploaded here in RUclips. It’s a great watch. I hope they make another one. But screw Amazon if they had really wanted this to be a financial success they would have released it worldwide in theatres.
Fun film. Entertainment. Don't take it too seriously. Not meant as a serious war movie.
Although the Ministry of ungentlemanly warfare did exist during the war. I believe it soon after became part of SOE

These actors aren't having any fun at all filming this. It must just suck working on this movie.
So far, the only thing I can see that's weird is no one told the woman actress what iron sights on a rifle and pistol are for. Rife: Sweetie, you need to get your check right down on the stock..don't be shy, it won't bite. But may spoil your makeup.
It's a movie! The goal is entertainment, not necessarily accuracy. But hey, the knuckle-dragger who can't spell "cheek" seems unable to pass up a chance to belittle a woman. Probably worships the orange god.
Buy the book. The trailer sucks.
Alan Richtson shouldn't have run his mouth immediately before the release, I feel like that had a big impact on this movies fiscal success. Thank goodness for Superman.

Since neither Cavill or Ritchson showed their asses, this is just another derivative WW2 comedy. The slinky heroine couldn't even sing "Mack the Knife" on key. Straight to steaming was the correct choice for another smug Ritchie project.
I was looking forward to seeing this movie until I learned Alan Ritchson is an Never Trumper. Also, no more Reacher for me.
