We are sending our grand child Pranav to OT as well as to the Montessori school. At school he is picking up the things fast enough but parroting of words has begun. But at OT therapy parents are not allowed in side and see the classes. So we can not practice at home

Therapist told not to do their part like writing part at home cox they told us its our part only therapist can help to get the grasp youll teach wrong so it will difficult for her learn

Hi Anjum,
We would like to differ here from the therapy center, your child spends maximum time of the day at home with you and you should repeat the exercises with the child. Ask them to train you or let you see what exercises they are doing with child.
What can go wrong with simple and effective exercises life picking pulses and beans from ground and sorting them.. 🌸

Hi Leena, not sure of any setup in Pune at the moment, will let you know if we come across any good name, meanwhile please do a google search and visit a few centers to judge the effectiveness on the basis of following factors:
Teacher: student ratio
Compassion of the teachers
Any other factor that's important for you such as distance etc.

My five years old has mild adhd.he got admission bt like sanyam our son also keeps quiet at school and don't respond.Now they are prejudiced towards him and ignore him.
Hi Ishita,
Don't loose hope, try n talk to the teacher, understand her perspective first and then try to make her/him understand your perspective. Both teacher and you have to be on one side. Else it will become a tug of war situation.
Keep working with child simultaneously at home. Listen to the teacher and support her in supporting your child.

We sent her tonplay school earlier...it was not good then we tried one inclusive school. ..there also experience was not good. She is not toilet trained yet and has less sitting tolerance. ...
My daughter is 6+ , we age struggling to find right school , right teacher, therapist for her ..can you please kindly tell which inclusive school Shayan went and if you can suggest some therapist.

1) Sainyam is one year behind in studies, because he was gearing up and got admission with a session's delay.
2) by god's grace he didnot have to repeat any session.
3) W as parents shadowed him for some time.
4) He got admission in DAV school.

Ye completely aapke bachhe ki condition aur uske issues per depend karta hai. Aapko ye dekhna hoga ki bachha kya normal school mein adapt kar payega. 2 din pehle humne isi se related ek short bhi banaya hai, pl aap dekhein.

Apne bola ek k baad ek behavior prblm aa raha tha school main, yeh sab kab khatam ho gaya tha saiyam k? Konsi age main?
Actually behaviour issues age ke sath sath change bhi hote rehte hain jaise jaise bachha grow karta hai aur aap bachhe ke sath kaam karte rehte hain. Even for any neurotypical child, behaviour patterns change with time, circumstances and environment. Sainyam ke case mein major issues like hitting, hair pulling etc disappeared with constant work by the age of 5 years.

Hi Prem,
At first you should take the child to an Early Intervention Center to find out the current status and work on the basics.
If you feel the child's development is appropriate as per the age then you can go for the school directly and pls note that schools can not deny the admission due to this reason. You have a right to write a mail directly to ministry of Social Justice and empowerment.

Hi Yuvi, Pls take support of Google and find , early intervention centers near you, if your child is very young, else look out for integrated setup or inclusive setup near you
We don't know what is your child's age and what is the condition, so can't really say which setup will be helpful.

Sainyam went to a play school at 2+ years, then to a special school in 3+ years. When his sitting, understanding & speech started developing, he went to a regular school in 4.5 years

Hello! To improve the sitting tolerance, you need to work on reducing the hyperactivity. Pl see our video on reducing hyperactivity. It will help.

U should not slap a kid with autism …this is very wrong… har bache ko pyar chahiye… deal with him with love and patience… praise him… use reinforcers
Slapping is not a solution.
Ismain bachhe ki koi mistake nahin hai. As a teacher aap uske liye concerned hain, ye bohat acchi baat hai, but agar aap sach main uske liye kuch acch karna chahti hain to patience and pyar ke saath deal kijiye and guide the parents towards required therapists.

She won't write in school she sit ideally
But if I guide her at home she write.
Her school teacher told me she good in oral but writing problem hai she is repeating her in same class for 2year now school stay 1moreyear she will be in lower nursery because she not writing.
School did not hv special educator.pls suggest what to do.

To guide you further we need to understand a few things like :
1) have you got an assessment done? , If yes what's the diagnosis?
2) How well does the child understand instructions?
Meanwhile my suggestion will be to look for another school nearby which has a special educator/ councellor. If the understanding is as per her class and age and it's only about the writing skills, repeating the class doesn't seem to be a solution.
Also please ensure the Occupational therapy is going on specially for the fine motor skills. You can refer our video Tips regarding Fine motor skills. That will help, it will speed up her progress in grip and hand eye coordination.

We tried alopethic with Sainyam fir a month, but usse vo kaafi lost ho gaya tha...Therapies are the best options, but agar medication pe jana hai, then we would recommend honeapathy, because it's safe and kafi bachhon main acche results bhi aate hain...including sainyam
