I've known some managers to be stubborn at times and not change things up partly because it's been widely called for.
He's changed formation and has now made proactive substitutions. Not too proud to do it and it's worked.

Remember where we were before Gareth. Since then... World Cup Semi final, Euro final, World cup quarter final... Euro Final (Again... and perhaps more). You can say he should have done this or that... but what the team under his management has achieved speaks for itself. His legacy is assured already - if we win or lose the final.

I was more of a boy then and now I'm 43 and thinking the exact same thing that this man is so calm and thoughtful that he could handle any situation. Keep going gareth and keep going lads. Tbh It wasn't pretty and imo that was never a penalty, but it's job done.

It was a penalty we don’t usually see given but it definitely wasn’t a dive. IMO the defender has every right to challenge for the ball but it’s a fact that he got the man and not the ball. A soft one that I don’t think should have been overturned but definitively not a dive.
