An interesting couple of videos on the Minsk Tractor Factory. Of course, the Tractor is very much the symbol of collectivization, socialism and the Soviet Union. An intriguing question is where and how does Belarus generate its income and wealth? Being in Minsk for a few days, it looked incredibly prosperous as compared to some other Eastern European countries.

Agree. Belarus is in better economic/social health and condition than Ukraine, Russia and a number of East and Central European countries. Belarus is streets ahead of Romania and Bulgaria (both EU member states) in terms of HDI and equality.

@@latinamerican1000 No.Other regions are somewhat poorer(with few exceptions).But considering that Minsk has 1/5 of the whole country population...
