Why do you prefer living tgere over Ireland? Id like to see a video on the pros and cons. Is there anything you miss from Ireland? I moved abroad and genuinely miss a full irish breakfast and my family
Patreon stays based for the moment, but I'd still look into possible funding alternatives if they're being bullied into censorship methods. SanFran company still, you never know what new policies they have to "enforce" on their creators... Also glad to see you return to Belwest, the staff there has always been helpful ✌
It would be a great idea to do a video on the best ways to travel into Belarus - border crossings, flights etc. What it costs. And then cost of hotels etc. when we get here. Being a Minsk guide for viewers could be an earner!!
@@cyoungso@devanman7920 took me 5.5 hrs approx. We were the second bus in line. Im traveling on visa free EU passport. Vilnius is best option believe me. Im going back via brest-warsaw and that might take me 24 hrs to cross. I will walk up to the front of the line and pay a bus driver to get a seat
Was there in December. Incredibly well kept city. I came from Vilnius, which is far more run down and battered. Only the buses reminded you that you weren’t in a ‘western’ city, but apart from that, the city doesn’t give the impression of being poor whatsoever.
You can film anything you want except border crossings. There's literally a law that states you can film anywhere in public. Russia is stricter - you can't film ANYWHERE within a 20 km within a border of another country.
I thought you'd have more snow there now. Do you know anything about the Bitcoin tax now in Belarus? Not sure if it changed for 2025 or not can't find anything online.
We now have snow. It came yesterday. Regarding bitcoin tax, no idea. You'd be better checking out with my friend Andrei Burdenkov of the 'Minsk Guide' channel.
Couldn’t find any info past 1st January 2025. Perhaps they’ll be an announcement after Xmas Day Jan 7th? 🎅🏼 ‘In Belarus, cryptocurrencies are exempt from capital gains, income tax, and VAT for businesses and individuals until January 1, 2025’
@@rjames3981 yeah this is all I can find. I need to move to a country that won't steal a massive chunk of my Bitcoin gains! And Belarus looks appealing.
Greetings from Dublin. Does visa and mastercard work in Belarus . Also google etc for maps as I know they are banned in Russia. Keep the content going. Great viewing !

Would be interested in doing an interview with you while I'm there if you're interested, and would greatly appreciate it. DMs are open.

Have u been back recently !!
I visited Minsk Summer 2001 and winter 2000, loved it. So peaceful and organized country.
Great to see you as always
Instant like. Thank you for filming my beloved Belarus.
Can you switch it to Ireland and make it a "travel" channel?

I have already done so. Check out my Gomel video. I address these issues.
Bus from Vilnius was cheap and fast
@@niels7811 How long did it take? No more 7 hours?
@@niels7811 I thought for the Visa you have to fly in and out or has that changed?

Maybe you could organise a city tour for a group of Irish to go visit you 😊

How is vlogging in Belarus ? I would love to go there and do some vlogging but a bit paranoid about waving a camera around !
You'll be fine. I have been all over Belarus and have never had any problems except the odd babushka shouting at you.

I think it would. There's an opening in the market waiting to be exploited.

no Visa and MasterCard card don't work as are American companies you have to have a Union pay (China) or Russian card
They do work. I only had my MasterCard rejected at certain ATMs and a couple of shops.
