You're so sweet! We will definitely be making more foraging videos - and sine we're heading into winter (where we live) we'll be making some videos incorporating dried herbs too :)
This is a really cool video thank you! Exactly what I was looking for - something to do with my overpopulated honeysuckle. No complaints here it's my fav smelling flower. Curious though... maybe you can help me... I tried to save some dried flowers to make some essential oils, by putting the almost- dried flowers into a ziplock bag, but I noticed today they appear to be moldy. I don't have a dehydrator. Should I be leaving the flowers out or just not seal the bag closed? Any info will be appreciated 🤗 Thanks!
I made that mistake too :( I tried to store nearly almost dried dandelion flowers but they became a mountain of mold. It is best to store completely dried flowers/ leaves. And to be safe you can put a dehydrator pack / one of those food dryness packs in as well. To make sure your plant is dry I usually leave it out for a couple of days and test how crackly it is. I'll leave it in a basket in the sun, or inside, or on paper, or hanging. If you need to keep it out of the way but still want to dry, put it in a ceramic container with the lid slightly off. Or, yes, leave the bag open if you are not certain yet. But it is always best to be certain :) Hope this helped!
I love how the cupcakes look with the fresh flowers on them. So pretty.
This is an amazing video, suprised you don't have a larger following. Please make more foraging videos! Subscribed!!
