This is real cool! Still fun for us old enough to remember 1968!!!
My dad's a tow truck driver and I been on the route many that I keep finding antique car and old stuff
Nice selection of FTE wheels
Awesome!
Your ground level action segments (near the end) are amazing! Very reminiscent of Mattel's early commercials.
Thank you. In fact, I was looking at the intro sequence for Mattel's 1970 Road Trials Set commercial for ideas on how to do the ground level videos. I'm sure they used sophisticated motion equipment to get it done. I just set up another lane of orange track and ran the camera down the track by hand. Not as good but still fun.
Very nice video! Thank you for sharing. Take care.
How do those new cars rate against old vintage redlines whip-creamer, custom cuda, custom mustang, custom camaro, etc etc.
I imagine that you have a awesome collection , love your videos, kee pop up the great work!
Another great video - thanks for posting.
Nice,!!!! Please keep the videos coming!!!!
WOW the ford gtx1 was close
Man that was fun! Interesting that a car with stock wheels was right up with two big diameter wheeled cars, and the 'race' car was mediocre.
I want this track now!! Though I may end up needing it to be longer as I want to do pure distance testing, so I won't have the hills.
Awesome track and great presentation!
the cafés and motels remind me of cars movie
Awesome Video.
Your vids have returned an old love.
Did you make your own car?
SC You bring the Kid back in me. at one point I had over 3000 Hot Wheels. My original RLs that I got back in 1968 and newer ones. Thanks again SC
Amarillo baby
Fantastic video!!! I absolutely love the Route 66 background intro. I drove parts of it when we moved from Ny to Cali. I'm collecting the road tripping hot wheels Route 66 cars too. Awesome track video as usual!!
Great video! Love your track builds and the way you film, Bravo!
well done. nicely edited. simple concept any kid could embrace.
Seen problems with the FTE2 wheels on some downhill tracks.
The outer rims of FTE2 wheels are not completely smooth. So this gives them traction to climb over low side wall track and crash. The best example of this is found on the RaceGrooves RUclips site (look for FTE vs FTE2). With higher side wall track there seems to be no problem.
Yep. But Mattel hasn't done anything about them. Oh, well.
+Smackeral Cafe isn't RTE 66 featured in that Cars movie?
great track keep the track sets coming
Smackeral do you do the cover music on your vids and do you get demonetized for using copyrighted songs?
This is a hobby for me. None of my videos are monetized. Money for any copyrighted song that I use goes to the artist who performs the songs.
Cool thanks for the answer.
OMG I HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE!!! I felt like I was at a real race about to start!
So much fun! I cheered out loud!
Hot Wheels and John Mayer, awesome video mate
I actually have some of those cars that you raced. Awesome track!
Run 7 wow
Funny how the winner made it to the end of the track but didnt go over the edge lol
