Well even pop rock wasn't trending anymore so it was hard for a gg to be seen when all of the others either had a soft dreamy cute image, a girl crush or back in 2nd gen sexy GGs have gotten more diverse and DC definitely were and still are at the forefront for rock, dark themes and strong choreos
The album is more exciting than I expected. Let's talk about it. 1. The INTRO is the bestest intro ever in k-pop. Although it talks about fashion still the atmosphere is so eerie. (So shocked that I had to recheck the title) 2. As always DC TT slays hard. Its really delivishly different. Looking forward to it. 3. RISING will be the daughter of break the wall, ig. The vocals there really hits hard. 4. I can't think of anything while listening SHATTER, cause it's just wow. Their soothing voice and the melody.. OMG. (Already my fav from this album). 5. I can just think of 4memory, but it is more beautiful than the former. Loved it already. (Mostly falling for the outfits ❤) Overall the VISUALS, SONGS, INTRO, VOCALS, FASHION,... EVERYTHING IS HEAVENLY GOOD.
Just from the few snippets I can imagine that the 9th mini-album hits like a bomb. It seems a bit more commercial than the previous ones. But still the classic DC style. In addition to DC - the 7 ladies sing brilliantly - the composers, stylists, make-up artists, cameramen and video designers (I'm sure) deserve the highest recognition. It's all so incredibly aesthetic. This album seems to be another masterpiece.

Well, I asked for US Tours, and they delivered, asked for solos on the next album, and they delivered. Asked for a cool, unique light, and they delivered. I even asked for 7 CDs... 🤩 and now, it's time to order those beautiful albums! DC never lets us down! 👍 Plus, they've brought so much laughter and happy moments into our lives that the least I can do is order a set. The fact that their albums always look great and are worth a fortune a couple year later doesn't hurt either. No, it's not about me personally; it's about how DC / DCC click with everything a lot of us were looking for in a Music Group (Music1st - Fun - Personalities), that's all. I had doubts about their marketing in the beginning, but I think they're doing well now. I'm sure they'll work on that Greatest Hits Collection when the time comes and those Game and other Variety shows as well.
OOTD makes me feel a very certain way. One that only a few songs in my life have. I'm not talking about kpop, but music in general. Rising has a lot of personality too. can't wait to hear them! Certainly, Dreamcatcher never ever dissapoints

If you stop the medley at 38-39 second mark and frame by frame thru the last part o f OOTD will show a binary number (0010000101010111) which may or not have significance to the song. Maybe someone brighter might figure it out. Nice tune.
I love all the SuA parts. She has a great voice but particular parts make her sounds the nicest and the producers seem to have nailed them. In general the vocals seem unusual but very fitting this time. These beautiful Dami vocals at the end, or the Handong - distorted Gah ("I'm only doing better", I think that's what Gah sings) part in OOTD. They also seem to have cut the drop from ALL the songs this time, so the full album will be interesting (yes, I'm sure this is part of the OOTD chorus plus the other spoilers, but there still seems to be like half of it missing. Either a heavy drop or a pre-chorus.)
0:21 is still Yoohyeon 0:25 JiU 0:28 Handong followed by Gahyeon (the part I like) 1:18 I don't think someone sings between Gah and Yoohyeon, it's just adlibs by Yoohyeon (the "high high" in the background) The rest is right, although after multiple listens I think the counting at the end is not Dami, maybe JiU. That means we get that part at least three times (Gah, Dami, JiU)
Hmm, I still can't hear Handong in those lines, although it would be a choice to make Gahyeon the whole part with that vocal switch in the middle. The part at 1:18 I kind of agree, I still don't know which is right for who between Yoohyeon and Gahyeon raps on 'Scar'.
@eremesguile9036 interesting, I actually think the vocals are quite distinguishable in this one. General rule of thumb, the powerful high chorus lines are mostly given to Yooh ("so high"), while the rest are classic Handong lines: either deeper parts or something like a beautiful pre-chorus. Gah actually sounds like Siyeon at the beginning and the effect on her voice doesn't make it easier. I only knew it was her bc of the "better". And thinking about it, I don't know who's singing after that 0:33 ...sounds a bit like Handong but not exactly so I think it's JiU. They can sound more similar than one would think, but it's cut off so it's hard to tell. Or Yooh again, or still Gah😂 I confuse other voices but Gahyeon and Yooh? Never haha. But maybe you're confused because Gah sings her verse, then Yooh, but at that exact timestamp 1:18 Gah's verse blends in with Yooh's adlibs. So they're technically both singing at the same time.

Either a heavy drop or a pre-chorus.)
Originally didn't think I could pick out any Handong in this, but maybe it's 0:00 Dami, 0:17 Yoohyeon, 0:21 Handong, 0:25 Siyeon/SuA?, 0:28 Gahyeon, 0:36 Dami, 0:39 Siyeon, 0:50 JiU (end of 'Rising' and beginning of 'Shatter'), 1:13 Gahyeon, 1:18 Handong, 1:20 Yoohyeon, 1:26 SuA, 1:41 Dami, 1:48 JiU, 1:55 Dami.
0:21 is still Yoohyeon 0:25 JiU 0:28 Handong followed by Gahyeon (the part I like) 1:18 I don't think someone sings between Gah and Yoohyeon, it's just adlibs by Yoohyeon (the "high high" in the background)
The rest is right, although after multiple listens I think the counting at the end is not Dami, maybe JiU. That means we get that part at least three times (Gah, Dami, JiU)
Hmm, I still can't hear Handong in those lines, although it would be a choice to make Gahyeon the whole part with that vocal switch in the middle. The part at 1:18 I kind of agree, I still don't know which is right for who between Yoohyeon and Gahyeon raps on 'Scar'.
@eremesguile9036 interesting, I actually think the vocals are quite distinguishable in this one. General rule of thumb, the powerful high chorus lines are mostly given to Yooh ("so high"), while the rest are classic Handong lines: either deeper parts or something like a beautiful pre-chorus. Gah actually sounds like Siyeon at the beginning and the effect on her voice doesn't make it easier. I only knew it was her bc of the "better". And thinking about it, I don't know who's singing after that 0:33 ...sounds a bit like Handong but not exactly so I think it's JiU. They can sound more similar than one would think, but it's cut off so it's hard to tell. Or Yooh again, or still Gah😂
I confuse other voices but Gahyeon and Yooh? Never haha. But maybe you're confused because Gah sings her verse, then Yooh, but at that exact timestamp 1:18 Gah's verse blends in with Yooh's adlibs. So they're technically both singing at the same time.
