The Pit is a wild experience of Todd being so in love with Mad Max, that he'd go to ANY length to force you to play his Mad Max fanfiction. Even going so far as to suggest that 3 idiots with police batons could beat a max level character in full power armor unconscious.
As usual, it's quite a moral dilemma you're presented with. I don't really remember much, but I think if you speak to Ashur more he explains his motifs and beliefs much better in comparison with Werhner, especially when it comes to long-term planning of the city's future
Yeah frankly Werhner is a slimy character who just happened to sieze an opportunity of the lifetime by, in this case, finding someone who was literally his useful idiot on the inside to overthrow Ashur. Ashur isn't any better but there seems to be some level of reasonability in the man. I certainly think he does care for the people he holds captive, but he fails to realize that cooperation among the whole group is required to survive, not some outdated cast system that takes away any meaningful choices these wastelanders might have had if circumstances were slightly more favorable. Granted we can't be certain on how this whole system was even built to begin with, but it's certainly not healthy for either side of the cast system. Humans are not commodities, and this simplification of them as such is dehumanizing, so when Ashur's empire crumbles I can't help but feel slightly cathartic even if there's a bit of a sour taste in my mouth afterwards. TL;DR, Fallout 3 The Pitt is probably it's best or second best dlc out of the bunch for it's story alone.
@@smtmonke I always leave the kid with Ashur because I feel that's the best chance to actually get something from the kid: leave her with the literal trained (albeit cautious) scientist. Its not a moral dilemma, not to me. Ashur has ruled The Pitt for decades and done absolutely nothing to rebuild the wasteland to make it better. The Steel Mill makes weapons, which supply the raiders so they can go out, and pillage for supplies and more slaves to keep the Mill Operational. It’s a viscous cycle of suffering, destruction and death. How many children have suffered and died because of his actions. He claims he'll free the workers one day, once its no longer necessary(again he's ruled this place for decades). But once he has that cure whose to say he won't find another excuse to keep them in bondage like he has for decades. Plenty of horrible people convince themselves their actions are necessary. And why should we think the Raiders would ever go along with it? No they’d kill Ashur, his wife and his child rather then gives up that power. Caesar from New Vegas might have been a monster but at least he accomplished something, Ashur is just a petty despot whose accomplished nothing for years.

Oh Kevduit before I forget, I recommend another game for your channel. “Samurai Jack battle through time”. It came out in August of 2020. The game adds more story to the finale of the TV show and it is really fun. I give it a solid 10. You can use more than just the sword. You can use spears, giant hammers clubs, machine guns, pistols, your fists, and bows. Also the game isn’t that long. It’s about 4 to 7 hours(depends on the difficulty).
Lived in Pittsburgh the past 6 years and I gotta say they truly got the atmosphere of Pittsburgh in this DLC, especially the back streets in South Side
When I first played through the Pitt I was really conflicted at the end. My character's G.O.A.T. was a chaplain and so did his best for the good of people, so he dispised the slavery and the fact that Ashur was okay with it all, yet for the sake of the slaves the baby was the price? In the end I couldn't make that choice and didn't steal the baby, instead hoping that (in character) my influence as one of Ashur's closest circle would alleviate the slaves suffering and allow change from the inside.
Ashur isn't really the bad guy there, I exhausted all of his dialogue he hates slavery thinks it's an abhorrent practice but he feels it's necessary to save the pitt, he was the first brotherhood outcast he left to fix what Lyons had done. Typically my characters end up either paragon good guys or hardcore brotherhood fundamentalists and neither one can really go agaisnt ashur. The pitt is the best of fallout 3s writing it's entirely morally ambiguous right or wrong isn't left or right here it's somewhere in the middle and neither side is wholly correct but whose better for the pitt? A brotherhood outcast and his scientist wife or a slave whose only expertise has been...well I'm not really sure what midea is good at but still.
@@ralcogaming7674 Yes he is, he's absolutely a bad guy. He's ruled the city for decades and what has he accomplished? Built and army of Raiders that pillages for supplies and slaves. He sounds no different then any other third world dictator in our world. Leaving Ashur and his Pitt Raiders alive means the continued suffering of countless human beings, Rockopolis and who knows how many other communities were destroyed by Ashur so he could save The PItt.

Kev Entering The Hole : "I'm not stuck in here with You, You're stuck in here *WITH ME* ."
Such a legendary DLC, as every other fallout 3 and NV DLC 😁
I never really liked Operation: Anchorage...
@@critica77y77That DLC is only useful cause at the end you get in unbreakable power armor and a decent sword, other then that most fallout 3 DLCS aren’t that good
@@thekapp2862 Hey, I like the other four Fallout 3 DLCs. It's just Operation: Anchorage I prefer to skip.
"YOINK" And so the wanderer said before killing the mother and stealing her baby
I still don't get how f.o.76 is canon
Money
Whenever I play The Pitt, I always give the baby to the rebels, but kill Wernher because he lied to me.
Now I know the orgin story of Kevduit. Damn you Mr. Handy!
* brutally beats a kid unconscious * Ah good now that everyone’s settled are you ready to take the goat?
These videos are so random but always hilarious
As a kid, i ordered Fallout 3 and it came with the 3 dlc's. The Pit was a very memorable one for it's apocalyptic grimy experience.
Fun fact: if you drop the baby using console commands it’s actually a garden gnome
"Did I just kidnap a baby and kill her mom??" Fallout 4 intro right here.
@17:50 "I'm taking this!"
*Reaches over and grabs a plunger as he leaves the room*
Is the only reason I liked this video lmao
Ah, Fallout 3: The Search for Ammo
"It doesn't even 360 no scope dad!" had me rolling hahaha
Doctor: oh it’s a wonderful baby boy!
Kevduit: I HAVE BEEN BORN!!
the pitt is one of the coolest looking dlc's i ever played
"zigzag zigzag zigzag shoot your face.... bing bong your head is gone" - Kevduit 2022
It’s about 4 to 7 hours(depends on the difficulty).
walk in wearing full power armor and literaly being a walking tank
gets beaten by batons
it looks far less green than I remember
He’s using a weather mod, the “unmodded Fallout” comment was ironic
Trying collect all 100 ingots was really fun tbh. Every 10 ingots you got better gear and just felt more powerful each time.
this isn't the end of the tunnel snakes! proceeds to punch them mid sentence while in a classroom with no consequences. 🐟
I've never really finished new Vegas, but F3 felt so alive for some reason, what child memories are made of
I feel like people have pushed fallout 3 into the underrated territory
How does that even work
@@gamerguy6990by saying it sucked when it had parts that were better than what got now
Fallout 3 unironically looks fun
Play gravity rush 2
I won’t stop till you do it
This voice fits the lone wanderer tbh
Try out Tale Of Two Wastelands. Fallout 3 + New Vegas.
Lived in Pittsburgh the past 6 years and I gotta say they truly got the atmosphere of Pittsburgh in this DLC, especially the back streets in South Side
Most of this is downtown and Oakland tho
Eat the baby! Let's go
Imagine if your baby comes out the womb saying "I have been born!" In a full grown man's voice
I played these dlcs when they first came out and fallout 4 but I never realize that you can become Kellogg in 3..
I think the only way that bethesda can redeem themselves in my eyes is to remake Fallout 3.
That hard cut from "I like you" to Megaton exploding was comedy gold.
"Thats a pitt refrence from fallout 76!"
This sentence made me unnecessarily angry.
Best line I’ve heard today,
“I HAVE BEEN BORN!”
And of course Kev chooses the more evil an sides with the slaves

Everett: “No thank you, Kev. A third of a gopher would only arouse my appetite without beddin' 'er back down.”
Great video 😊📸 🤡

Don't call a NPC bad at the game when you play on easy kev
