Did you use a normal pencil for calligraphy? And will it affect the paint if we use eraser during calligraphy in case something didn't turn out the way I want as I am learning?

Wa salaams! Yes I used a normal HB pencil and if you use a light hand, when you come to erase your lines it shouldn’t cause any issues!

Assalamwalaikum, i wanted to ask, how do you write the calligraphy on the canvas, do you directly just write it on, and erase if there are mistakes? Or is there another specific way? I am afraid of ruining my canvas, so i wanted to know, as sometimes the pencil marks remain behind and even worsen because of erasing. 😊

U can write with the pencil itself .it won't ruin your canvas but don't be too hard or else it will leave the mark there

Salaams! Yes I can, in the video I show I use acrylic ink for my calligraphy, this does now strokes at all if you use the right amount of ink!
