Abhijit Chavda didn't mention a few points. 1946 naval mutiny happened, because of the INA soldiers' trial. Secondly, in 1946, apart from Direct Action Day in Kolkata, there was another massacre happened in Noakhali, Bangladesh.

It is a little known fact that most of the revolts against British began in South India / Madras Residency r Mumbai Residency (then).
Puli Thevar and Veerapandi Kattaboman, Palayakkarars (Poligars) of the mid- and late eighteenth centuries in Madras Presidency; the Marudu Pandyan brothers who revolted between 1799 and 1801; the Vellore Sepoy mutiny of 1806; and the revolt of Pazassi Raja of Kottayam in Kerala (1792 to 1805), are but a few examples of pre-1857 revolts. All the mutineers were ruthlessly killed - hanged, decapitated, or blown from canons - but they refused to apologise and get reinstated under British rule.

Atlee has claimed and it's on record ..that British left India in hurry becoz lakhs of stood against handful thousands of British Army left. It was Subhash Chandra Bose and INA that British left. No where he has mentioned INA and Subhash Chandra in Mutiny. Case were filed on 3 soldiers from INA and elder brother of Sardar Patel fought for these 3 young soldiers from INA. British has one policy to dominate their kingdom that's divide and rule. As far as i know that naval mutiny had been started by hearing heroism story of soldiers of Azad hind fauz and their leader Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Therefore when the great generals of Azad hind Fauz were taking to the open court trial in Lal kella in Delhi by Britishers , then there more heroic stories were being spread around in the all over country. That's also a colossal and crucial reason of Royal naval mutiny of 1946.

The RIN rebellion was based a lot on the communist movement which exhorted soldiers to create revolution. The British, after the end of the revolt, found plenty of communist literature in the possession of the rebels. That being said, it was indeed a continuation of the INA protests as well as against racist British officers.

I love your podcasts but please dont invite guests with no credibility. Hes not really a good historian according to me, messes us facts regularly, forgets to mention important things and rarely mentions exact dates, which proves that history might just be a subject of interest to him but hes no historian. No serious historian would make such mistakes and talk so casually about events without getting into proper details or dates.

Dearest viewers, just one request; whatever this man is saying, do cross check before you believe him. I have checked his ResearchGate profile (where we researchers post our research and publication), he doesn't have a single publication in any scopus Journal, although in the description he is described as a theoretical physicist. He turns our to be pseudo researcher. I am skeptical about his political knowledge also. One may check his ResearchGate profile also.
