I made the wreath. Placing the shells in a random way made it very pretty. 🐚 🥰 I love it. My dollar trees were out of the sea horse. I found the dolphin 🐬 and it came out very pretty I love it too. Thanks Jessica.
Thank you! I’m not sure if your talking about my intros and then when I get into the videos I say “I did”? Either way it’s probably because I recorded the intro before the diy was done and the voiceovers are after it was done. Sometimes the intros vary and they are recorded after the diy is done but I think I still say “going to” out of habit lol I’m not sure I never really noticed it just trying to explain as much information on how to put the project together as possible. I found mine at Dollar Tree but this was in the summer time. They are a seasonal item so when spring and summer rolls around Dollar Tree should put them out again or hopefully something similar. It’s cheaper to make your own chalk paint. That’s what I do. Simply mix Plaster of Paris with some water to form a “ Pancake batter “ then add it to your desired coloured paint n mix well, cover any unused chalk paint.
Susie P. I used Acrylic Paint (not craft Acrylic Paint) - I Used a 500ml Sample Tin From Mitre 10 here in Australia, first I mixed the plater of Paris with water then mixed the Paint In with a Fork. I will find the video I found to make it and share with you if you like.

LOVE the Seashell wreath!!! I live in the Pacific North West, and the coast is about an hour from my home, I have collected SO MANY seashells!! I just absolutely LOVE THEM!! I have used them in my paintings and other art but this is a wonderful idea!! That wreath turned out beautiful!! I recently saw one in a shop and it was going for over $100! I love the coastal decor and also the farmhouse decor, I have a lot of both, living near the coast and also we have so much that has been passed down from my great grandparents & grandparents, they owned & lived on a farm. It wasn’t that long ago that people used to tell me, I should “update” some of our older vintage decor. But I have ALWAYS loved it! Now people want to know WHERE I GOT IT! Lol One problem though I have had is how to incorporate both, to make them flow together.. I like how you have done that! I think both styles are timeless, and even though they may not be what is the current fad some years, I have ALWAYS loved them! Both styles bring such great character to a space & I have found our home is comfortable, carefree, breezy, and full of stories that people love to hear. I love these DIY’s you have shared! The seahorse is great too, I’m putting that & the wreath on my TO DO LIST!! I have worked with those gems A LOT, and hot glue doesn’t seem to like them much.. even other super glues, after about a year I have found the gems pop off. But the E6000 has HELD UP LIKE A CHAMP! So anyone wanting a permanent solution definitely use the E6000, otherwise you’ll be fixing it within a year, and I have even used the Gems in my outside decorating, the E6000 (after 4 years) is still HOLDING UP!! This is after getting rained, snowed and even iced on! I wouldn’t recommend leaving them outside, I usually bring them in to our shed in the winter. But one year I forgot, and that just goes to show HOW GREAT the E6000 is!! Anyways, thanks for these great projects! Have fun at the beach this summer!! I feel pretty lucky to live to close to the ocean, it is definitely one of my FAVORITE places to go!

Many people do Farmhouse DIY but you and a couple others are the only ones I would ask this of: I am not a fan of Farmhouse design (although this project is an exception) and EVERYONE does this. Thank you for the tip on using E6000, I've been having trouble with my sea glass from the dollar tree on another project, used super glue and they keep falling off. Gonna get some stronger glue. Thanks again!
I did something similar with the seahorse for my bathroom a few years ago. I definitely second that it needs to be E6000, but also note that it's going to be heavy as heck! Nice projects!

I couldn't sleep so got up to go onto a RUclipsr's friend's site to see what her latest beachy farm house video was and looking for hers this one of yours came up and I think your ideas are awesome. I loved your shell wreath it was so professionally done I am sure you can sell them for $40 plus. It was all nice and even with shells and so presentable and pleasing to the eye. I have come home 2 winters now with tons of awesome shells from Sanibel, Florida and have them in large glass containers with brown rope wrapped around the bottom to display mine in. I love your weathered looking faux window and I especially love the glass stone seahorse. I saw the sea horse plaque last Friday in the Dollar Tree next to my bank where I cash my paycheck and I was wondering if I could pry off the seahorse without messing it up and I thought of gluing tiny Sanibel shells to it and for the eye using a tiny snail shell. I love your idea though. The glass floral stones I make jewelry out of. They make great rings. Thank you for such cool ideas. I will follow you now - I hadn't seen you until tonight. I have to do my crafts from bed because I have an aneurysm on my thoracic aorta. I love that you have such cute ideas that I am able to do from bed. I would suggest if painting popsicles before male sure completely dry before gluing other wise you will have a hot mess!

Only problem with hot glue. If it gets hot during summer months or heat, the hot glue will remelt and the project will fall apart. I use E6000.

I did something similar with the seahorse for my bathroom a few years ago. I definitely second that it needs to be E6000, but also note that it's going to be heavy as heck! Nice projects!

I couldn't sleep so got up to go onto a RUclipsr's friend's site to see what her latest beachy farm house video was and looking for hers this one of yours came up and I think your ideas are awesome. I loved your shell wreath it was so professionally done I am sure you can sell them for $40 plus. It was all nice and even with shells and so presentable and pleasing to the eye. I have come home 2 winters now with tons of awesome shells from Sanibel, Florida and have them in large glass containers with brown rope wrapped around the bottom to display mine in. I love your weathered looking faux window and I especially love the glass stone seahorse. I saw the sea horse plaque last Friday in the Dollar Tree next to my bank where I cash my paycheck and I was wondering if I could pry off the seahorse without messing it up and I thought of gluing tiny Sanibel shells to it and for the eye using a tiny snail shell. I love your idea though. The glass floral stones I make jewelry out of. They make great rings. Thank you for such cool ideas. I will follow you now - I hadn't seen you until tonight. I love these too!!!!! I am not going to the beach either. I have a huge apothecary Jar with shells in it. I have collected them for years! I have been trying to come up with something else to decorate that area with and nothing seems to fit......until now!!!!!! Thank you sooo much for sharing! I can’t wait to make all three!

I have to do my crafts from bed because I have an aneurysm on my thoracic aorta. I love that you have such cute ideas that I am able to do from bed. I would suggest if painting popsicles before male sure completely dry before gluing other wise you will have a hot mess!
