Absolutely love the Genesis. I didnt start seriously collecting for it until i had grown up. My favorites are probably dr robotniks mean bean machine and Shining in the darkness You have a great collection!
Great collection of "quality over quantity!" I played through Steel Empire a couple years back and I thought it was pretty cool. Not the most amazing shooter I've ever played, but definitely worth going through at least once. I'd love to own Wings of Wor, I'm pretty jealous about that one. I'm surprised to not see Ghouls N Ghosts in there, that seems like a game you would own. It's a touch on the pricey side these days, I wish I had gotten it when the Genesis library was dirt cheap across the board.
Knowing what I know right now, I would have bought heavily into the genesis library when I started collecting in like 2010. I was so laser focused on Nintendo stuff that I ignored and regrettably passed on Genesis lots, because I wanted to save the money for that next big "NES score."
You got the right version of Mickey Mania there. The SNES one is missing stuff and has loading times. The Sega CD and PlayStation games are CDs. Most of the time, I side with cartridges over CDs :)
I'm glad you plan to keep Sonic Spinball for all it's weird physics, there aren't too many platformer pinball games and that one has some interesting and challenging levels. I'd like a new Spinball which didn't movie like molasses flowing in a tundra whenever Sonic jumped. I'm sure the system is doing tons of math to figure out where you're going and where you're possibly going to collide.
Oh Yeah try getting X-MEN, Streets of Rage 1-3, Revenge of Shinobi, Golden Axe, Rambo 3, Michael Jackson Moonwalker, True Lies and Zombies Ate My Neighbors - these are sone of my Favorites 😊
It's sad that you got rid of one of the best action games on the Sega Genesis. Rocket Knight is one of those games which takes full advantage of the hardware, has great presentation, and a variety of levels and gameplay mechanics that keep the game interesting throughout the journey. I understand getting rid of Sunset Riders, though it has differences from the SNES version. There was a time where I was tempted to get rid of "inferior" ports, but I realized sometimes I want a different flavor of a game--different sound, different graphics, different technicalities with control, and possibly different features exclusive to one version.

What are some of your favorite Genesis games? Leave a comment below.

Golden Axe

Hi Chris Miller I Hope Those Ps2 Games Gets A Physical Release For Ps4 And Ps5 In The Future
Love the sega, and you have some great games bud. Wings of War is a all time favorite!👍👍
I love the stuff overall, maybe not Battle Squadron though it tries. It feels like a DOS shooter that was ported to Sega Genesis.

Nice, I've heard that Rambo 3 is really good. God I love True Lies...the movie. I've never really played the game

i gave up collecting as it was costing so much more than it used to.
It's crazy expensive. I'm lucky I got in when I did.
