Really awesome, buddy....between you and the Smuggler's room channel ...I am now in the middle of a remodel of my game room...not nearly as detailed and star wars specific, but it is looking much better than it was...thanks for the inspiration and please keep on sharing...it is much appreciated...Jim
Jim, thanks for the kind words. It makes me so happy that some inspiration comes from all of this. The Smuggler's Room is on a whole other level. That's where I draw my inspiration from as well as The Rebel Base Builds, Whitey's Wicked Workshop, Black Market Outpost, and a ton of others. Look for those guys' channels if you haven't already! And be sure to share your build as well!!
You need to add a star wars light switch panel like those from the smugglers room and replace it with the auto door switch that would really make it pop. Great job and looks amazing.
Looks great. Do yourself a favor. Make sure that tv is vented. Also you can get black “brushed aluminum “ look laminate. If you want to add a low budget metallic look.
Okay just going to pick your brain Ron...love the room...I'm totally inspired. If you had advice to give......I want to make a theme empire room myself...but I envision I will be moving at least 2 more times. Do you think its possible to make portable walls but still have the details like yours? Suggestions on what ideas come to mind?
@@sleuthycompass6027 Hi! Yes, the metal cleats that I use will support a lot of weight. That is definitely the way to go. You can either make the cleats out of wood or purchase the ones made of metal. www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z2LG1MH/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_OuoxFbT792W4Y One word of caution is that you may have to watch the area above the cleats when you go to adjust the panels. You may scratch the walls a little. I would suggest matching the wall paint. This way, when you move, you can touch up those areas. Thus getting that security deposit back. ;-)
@@CGRTist Ron you're the real deal. I've been wanting to do this for 2 decades. Thank you so much for your advice and get it done attitude. I have much to learn. If you and the family ever come to the Rocky Mountains of Canada (Banff) ...there are many adult beverages waiting for you. :)
I'm totally getting blender this week to grab that 3d file for the panels!! The best thing about your channel is you actually show us how its done. Such a breath of fresh air for us newbies.
You should be proud, wonderful work!
Thanks you!

Great ideas, and thanks for the kind words!
Nice work... i am dreaming to build a home theater one day :)
It'll happen! Hopefully, I've taken some of the fear out of tackling such a large project.
That is looking great I love the battery powered air nailer
Yeah that thing has been great! I love the fact that there isn't a noisy air compressor to lug around.
@@CGRTist i am looking to get one now lol

Ah, yes, I should cut some vent holes in the back hole. Good idea, thanks!
Very cool....great job.
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice job, but please cover your projector to protect it from dust next time. Especially that Sheetrock dust. 😊
You could try using a paper-faced metal corner bead.
I was thinking about that as well. Maybe I can try it on the sides and top of the opening. Thanks!
Love it
Thank you!

Would hanging cleats off a wall support panels?
