Bhagavadgita is unique! It can't be compared with any book in the world! If we want to discuss on Buddha though he was a prince he left the kingdom, his beautiful wife and son in quest of truth! So, what does it mean? Should people leave their wives , house and children in quest of truth! As Ashoka embraced Buddhism and started practicing Buddhist principles the foreign invaders started attacking India! Therefore a king should live like a king ! If he renounces the world it gives horrible results! On the contrary Bhagavadgita taught us we should never neglect SWADHARMA ! And we should never embrace PARA DHARMA .
