EASY!!! Blues Rock Lead Guitar Lessons
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 7 сен 2024
- You have the major and minor pentatonic at your finger tips. This is a simple but effective blues rock lead guitar lesson. This also is a intermediate blues rock solo guitar lesson that will be an eye opener. But a beginner will definitely get something from the lesson. Using a root note anywhere on the fretboard, the minor sound is 2 frets back and the major sound is 2 frets up. Any where on the fretboard!!! Happy Jamming everyone👍

Damn American strats sound. Sooo good
@@DavidJones-lw2qc It’s a good one! Thanks for checking in David👍
Simplicity is the key ❤ less is more!
Thanks mate
Well said! And you’re welcome mate 👌
well said, less said is more Music
Exactly keep it simple, more is not always better. The number one thing is to have fun while playing, when it's not fun anymore its time to hang it up for awhile. Can never see that happening though, when its in your blood your screwed..😅
That's why teaching long form Pentatonix is so important.. I hear people say I'm stuck in the Box I'm stuck in the Box... spread that box out over the fretboard
Spreading the box all over the fretboard is a simple simple concept. But a lot of players struggle with it. Thanks for checking up the video.👍
@@rustysguitar1 I'm all about freestyle.. my ADD doesn't let me Focus on playing other people's music.. for some reason or another I always struggled with that so I just play whatever comes out of my head... which makes RUclips Perfect.. I'm unable to Noodle Crazy Train... but doing my own thing I can keep right along... it's fun it's all improv right.. peace up
🤘🏻💀..
@@solos7685 that’s a fun way to play the guitar! Just make it your own! Catch you later🤛
@@solos7685I’m the same way, only I have a neurocognitive disorder as a result of a car accident. I can “dissect” other people’s music to learn techniques but can’t really remember it. I’d get thrown out of a cover band fast. The trade off has been that once I learn a technique or bit of theory I own it. Once I accepted this (and the slower/less I play the better I sound), guitar stopped being a competition and became FUN. IJS, CONGRATS for recognizing that “you’re the best you that ever picked up an axe.” No need to try to be somebody else!🫡🫡🫡🫡
Rusty - I have played for 30 years - that was honestly the best, most consise explanation I have ever heard 😂
Actually quite blown away how easy you made that, and the playing as usual, was obviously absolutely beautiful
So glad to read your message! This is simple but effective. Hope you have fun with it. Later bro 😎
Thank you sir that’s my first music theory I may remember. Keep it simple
You’re welcome, Jim! It’s always good to hear from you, my brother🤛
As a beginner i needed to know that ..thank you !
I’m glad you got something from the lesson! You’re welcome. Thanks for watching.👍
Major ahha moment thanks Rusty you just cracked the fretboard and maj and minor wide open , you're The best teacher , forever grateful to you 😊😊😊😊
I made it way too complicated for years! So I thought of a way to make a short little video showing how easy it could be! Thanks for checking it out Mark👍
you teach the things it took me decades to find out, even though i am from a musical family, kudos, i would recommend you to anyone learning or even people who play already.
I use the small bend all the time! Thank you for checking out the short lesson. Later man 👍
The like button isn’t enough for this. ❤❤❤

I’m always happy to help! Thanks for checking out the video Kevin👌
You help me so much, I can play a lot of songs, riffs etc, but struggle to be creative, thanks for simplifying this stuff so we can be inspired and have something to work with.

You are welcome, Rusty! I really mean it! Your way to excite people to grab the guitar and learn how to understand what it takes to achieve it is absolutely tremendous. Congratulation.
Wow! You just sparked a major ahhamoment for me with this video. I can’t thank you enough. You are a master, a gentleman and a scholar.
I’m glad to hear that! Thank you for watching! Much appreciated 👍
Wow I can’t believe the amount of hate u received on this, I appreciate the time you spent making this to help out everyone who watches, thank you, and if all u people hating on this and trying to correct it and spit out music theory pay attention he said this will help if ur struggling between the minor and major better so if your able to write a 3 paragraph essay on music as to why u don’t need the advice then you don’t need any help with that stuff anyways,, ( you should be making videos right now on why you think your better than everyone else 😂, sorry but I can’t stand when people are trying to help others understand this awesome instrument and others try to corrupt it.. keep up the good work brother!!!
I appreciate your defense here. A lot of people just wanna put labels on things. I was just trying to show a way to improvise without thinking too much! If it sounds good, play it!!! Thanks mate! Talk to you soon 👍

This is why intervals are so important. Just learning mixolydian will teach you this and the other missing notes in the scale.
You are right Brandon! Thanks man 👍
You know Rusty, little tips like this really are golden. Even though I already knew this, you have made this knowledge musical, rather than just factual, which is so valuable. I've been playing with this since I got home from work and jamming away so much that I missed dinner!!!.....I can eat later, I'm having fun with this! THANK YOU!!
I’m glad you’re having fun with the lesson RJ! I have the full lesson coming out tomorrow on this topic. Fun stuff. Thanks so much buddy. Let’s talk soon ✌️

@@rustysguitar1 okay
Nice breakdown! Even a guy like me can get that. (I think?) 🤔

Wowzzza you make it look so easy. Mine is in need of some better voicing but I’m working on it. Stay frosty❤️🤍💙
Thanks a lot for checking out the video. Have a great Sunday.🙏
Been playing for a few years but timing was a major problem for me, so I took a few lessons from my professional drummer husband. I started to play spoons for better rhythm and at 60 yr old, I’m still learning loads. It’s never to late to learn a new instrument.
@ohsuziq3916 I hope you have fun on your guitar journey! Thanks for checking out my channel. Happy Sunday to you.🙏
Awesome... these little subtle things to know give me more confidence that I can play the guitar. Thank you sir for your knowledge 🙏
We all need another tool in the tool bag that’s for sure! Thanks for checking out the video. Talk to you soon.👍
yes sir!!!
Thanks mate 👌
Man! I love that fender strat sound!
Yeah, I love that guitar 🎸 Thanks bro 😎
I like that
Thanks Harold! I appreciate it bro 😎
i like the g and d note to bend a tiny bit before the note dies too, aka, quarter note bends ( a bad term for it in my view as its preceded by the static regular note) or a blues curl.
🔥very easy to remember patterns..😁👍
You’re right! I use boxes and patterns to visualize the fretboard. Thanks and enjoy your Sunday.🙏
Useful thx
Happy it was useful. Thanks 👍
Rusty ur a legend bro Brian Ireland I never thought of it like that before sweet !! Thanks 🎸🎸🎸
Thank you Brian! Always great to hear from you! Greetings from Chicago my friend ✌️
I miss doing little freestyle solos at the bar all hammered with the old guys
Jamming with the guy’s was the best 😎 Thank you my man ✌️
My brain has always somewhat knew this but hearing u says two frets back and two frets forward made it so clear 😂
I think we make improvising harder than it Hass to be! I like these little simple, fretboard connections! Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I appreciate your support.👍
Nice work Rusty.

Hi Rusty another great lesson.❤
Much appreciated Jon! Thank you 👍
Hi Rusty, I like the natural look of your stratocaster.
It’s a good looker or for sure! Thanks Douglas for checking out the video! Later buddy👍
two frets up with a tone bend yes but you could say two frets up and semi tone bend to the minor third too and major is down one fret and across a string, playing the g's and g sharps in different positions basically, confusing at first but crucial to learn, this is because guitar has duplicate notes like a sax or trumpet (which i believe has two d notes one being a bit off)
Great to know ! Thank you!
Thanks, Stephen! Later buddy👍
This is so helpful! ❤😊
Thanks a lot Michelle❤️
Why did I not know this thank you very helpful
Glad you got something out of the Shorty lesson! Thanks, Michael👍
