Well detailed, comprehensive review. Thank you. I bought the white panda 12 months ago and love it. The reverse panda is just as good, and probably more legible. Exceptional accuracy so far. Certainly one of my favourite watches. Only criticism is that there is no micro adjust on the bracelet. The new T-Fit has been released on the latest models and I guess it will eventually come on the Chronograph too.
That’s very kind of you to say. It’s something that I’ve been working on for the last few months. I think I’ve been most successful, at improving my audio. I have no real complaints there. I spent probably two or three hours shooting B roll on Saturday. I shot the main video Sunday morning and then it probably took me three or four hours to edit. So it probably took me three times so long to produce that video vs. most of the table tops that I do.
Great comprehensive review! I also chose this reveres panda chronograph. I traded the most recent Omega Speedmaster Racing for it and could not be happier. Two things that are minor cons for me are I would perfer a ceramic bezel and some sort of quick fit adjustment like the glide lock. Also the clasp is a scratch magnet. However, overall I am very happy with it and next to my Seamaster they make a nice pair. Thanks for the video.
@Hani Gharaibeh Yes, I prefer this Tudor over the Omega Speedmaster Racing 44.5 mm case model because the Omega is a very large and thick watch around 16.5 mm in height. It did not fit well on my 7-inch wrist. I also prefer the overall design of the Tudor's dial over the newer Speedmaster racing model. The look and comfort of the Tudor bracelet was also superior IMO.
I also owned a Zenith movement two tone Daytona over a decade ago and while I loved it…the lack of a date was annoying and it did sit kind of small. I just bought the panda Black Bay Chrono and also feel it is a superior watch to the Daytona. Especially on pricing for comparison of features. The BB is superior.
Very enjoyable video mate. But no, Omega is a vertical manifacturer. There are plenty of video footage you can search for, showing their "house" facility in Bienne. Yes they're part of the Swatch group, but they do not mount ETA movements anymore, since decades now. Next to that same facility, there is even a dedicated section of (partially) hand made movements for the 321. While I agree on the Kenissi movements been regarded as in house as the ETA ones, specifically those exclusively found in modern Longines watches.
Ive been on the fence for years about buying this watch. Certain aspects keep me from the purchase. You explained both. No micro adjust and aluminium bezel instead of ceramic. However, that is one sharp watch. We'll see in the future.
Excellent review. I agree with your comments on the Daytona and although I haven’t owned one, the look isn’t for me. Like you, I bought the BB reverse panda and absolutely love it. The size is perfect and the chrono dials are much nicer than those on the Daytona. The panda is very nice too but I tend to prefer darker dials in general. I also like the steel bezel and look forward to see how it ages over time. The 70 hour power is excellent. Weekend proof as they say. Won’t go back to a 40 or 55 hour!
I got the Panda a week ago today,my only problem is its a bit hard to read late in the day when light is dim. The other problem is I have nine other beautys that don't get worn as much!
There are no perfect watches,I've had mine for a week & never noticed but after five days I switched up & what a difference in weight! You just have to be cognizant that you have a bold piece on you're wrist & don't work with the watch on. I have ten watches now & not a scuff on any,the bracelot clasp is the scratch magnet for me but I can buff that out when it happens. Cheers
I tried this chronometer at my local AD. I wanted to buy a watch to develop history with my dealer so I could get a shot at another Rolex. I tried on some Rolex watches ( I own a Sub and Batgirl GMT). Some IWC but they were huge. I tried some Omegas especially the speedmaster panda , but I was really excited to try the Tudors. All the omegas were really nice time pieces The Tudor was a letdown compared to any of these other watches. It was very rough and in my opinion unfinished. I brought over the Omega Speedy raving and there was no contest. I walked out of the shop with the omega and couldn’t be more happy. But still I was hoping to get a Tudor but it just didn’t feel good. Being a Porsche guy the only analogy I can come up with is it’s like comparing a Camaro to a Porsche 911 GT3. And I really wanted the Tudor to work out. It was a good chunk of change less. But I’m excited and in love with the omega. It’s given my Rolex Sub some rest time It joins my two Rolex’s, my Breitling navitiner cosmonaute limited edition and my Seiko dive watch

Thanks for the kind words and I agree about the micro adjustment.
Your production is next level. I have so much to learn! Thanks for pointing me in your direction. It’s really helpful!

Would u recommend this over the Speedmaster racing ? Why

Got my Panda this week, it has better dive qualities & I need the date on my watches. What a nice piece to have. Congrats

Excellent, thorough review. Great work!
Thank you for the kind words!
Great review. BB Chrono is king 👑, I the 2018 bob chrono. Staying in the collection
I owned it and liked it very much! The reverse panda is very legible. Maybe some day I'll buy one again ;)
Good review!
Thanks! Any particular reason you sold yours?
@@ThruMyLens100 I went for another watch and got a good price for it. You know how that goes ;) So not that I didn't like it!

I have the Panda & I can let it sit the whole weekend & its still keeping time but I love it so much I don't want to take it off!
Just got mine about a week ago and I’m surprised at how comfortable it is. And wow is it accurate, mine loses 1.5 sec a day, excellent.

I am between this or the seamaster planet ocean, the price on this one is a big plus
Don't forget, with this you're getting Breitlings b01 movement that is in ten thousand dollars watches, plus I need a date function on my piece.
Stunning watch, perfect and elegant in all aspects, safe the size imho...two or three milimeters less would make it flawless...

It can be a dive watch,it can be a stopwatch,it can be worn w/ jeans or a tux! What's better than that for 5500$?
Great review 👍
Thank you!
Reverse Panda all the way 🔥
🤜🏻🤛🏻
Very good video, I have same watch and I’m happy with it apart from the fact sometimes when I stop the chrono, the seconds hand jumps back slightly?
