Then: my means "il mio" but "mio" doesn't mean my even they're both possessive adjectives. So Google translate translates "my" with "il mio" but in this case in italian it's only noun amore+adjective mio In italian we usually put the adjective AFTER the noun, only in poetry or licterature Is used to switch them or It will sound weird while speaking. If there Is the article "il" (the) we put the adjective and the article BEFORE the noun. Since Google isn't accurate It translates my love with il mio amore while It Is "amore mio", you don't Need the article to indicate the subject of your phrase since when you Say "amore mio" you say It directly to the Person you love.
