it made it nostalgic and a bit sad when you mentioned standing not far away when it opened in the 90s. I think it's because I'm now in my late 30s and realizing that you don't last forever and that many things from the distant past are long gone, but that there are those that survive like this shop and serve to remind us of what it was like then.

I’m new here, I enjoyed the video. This episode brought me back to 2006..when i was 23 and i bought my first ever W124 300CE 24V coupe…I will never forget those driving experience especially with “sport” manual transmission…I remember later in 2007 I ordered directly from Japan full widebody kit…from the company named “VITT” it cost me a fortune but the plan was to make my Mercedes looking similar to “hammer” look..Regrettably the car was sold out later in 2009 (I was young and the financial part wasn’t that strong) and then the widebody kit was sold 11 years later in 2020…I miss the car even today..❤ Subscribed.
The door mirrors on the 124 and 201 Mercedes were not the same size from factory, one was square and the other rectangular. I think the longer one was the perspective type (objects in this mirror appear closer than they actually are) and the square was just an ordinary mirror, however I'm not sure.
I have been wondering why the mirrors are different (i have owned 9x W124) and they all have it, i also noticed that the 4th gen VW Golf also has the stubby mirror on the passenger side, but it´s more subtle than the W124.

Thank you for posting this video! I've known about this shop for years but not much information is out there and I was hoping to get an in-depth look at their inventory. The W124 is a legendary platform to begin with, and these performance packages are just beautiful to look at.
Awesome video man. Thanks so much for sharing. The edits and music were on point. I love the older amg's. They just have that muscular & classy look to them the new cars don't, and still plenty of power to have fun with on the road. I have a 1999 W210 E55 myself, but would love to try out one of those 6.0's or decked out 500e's. My mechanic also calls them the "last of the old tanks." Subscribed.
This video just popped up on my feed and you lured me in with the W124 thumbnail. I love the colour coded AMG wheels on these cars, they work so well. I also really like how Japan has preserved its culture - Its such a fascinating place, and they are so respectful of cars. The quality of aftermarket parts is also second to none I think - incredible what they spend on their vehicles often to improve the quality of them only, or on very small details. Really is fantastic. I am very interested in the ABC Kei cars, so anything on special shops for those would be very cool. Also Japan loves classic minis, so turlte trading and the other Mini workshops would be of interest. Thanks for the video.
Damn.... remember reading about this shop from the SH article and it really resonated with me cause my late dad was a huge Mercedes and AMG fanatic. Suppose the fanaticism leaked to me as well because they are just beautiful. Great video man. Cheers from Indonesia🥂... btw, the wheels that were on the E 60 is a 3pc OZ Aero. We call them 3pc Aero in Indonesia and since the recent boom of pre-merger AMGs everywhere, they are really really super duper expensive in my country. But the odd thing is that there is no AMG emboss on the wheels and they usually have them...

Sublime…I have a 1996 R129 SL500 imported from Osaka in 2021 with just 4,000 miles from new. The Japanese market really knows how to look after their MB’s.
7:14 I'm very fortunate in that I don't have to imagine the sound. The stock exhaust is actually whisper quiet at low RPM or idle. It may be a muscle car, but it's a Mercedes first. However, put your foot down and it roars - and it's almost entirely induction noise, not exhaust. Some owners go with a custom exhaust, but most keep it stock, at most adding AMG tips. Enjoyed the video, always a treat to see what our Japanese friends are up to when it comes to old Mercs.

Great video my friend. I have a 1997 W140 S600. It so true, trying to acquired those "old school parts" are few in between. I'm trying to build a "AMG Tribute Car". I just want to get all of those AMG body kits, trim parts, wheels, exhaust, remote control for the radio and etc, I have been lucky so far on acquiring all of those parts except for the AMG BBS wheels. but i'm working on it.
I'm from Malaysia, I'm really interested in Mercedes but in Malaysia the market price and spare parts are still high and when I see this video I feel excited and thank you for the video
This is so fire, didn't know you had a youtube channel. I follow you on IG but i barely use the app so i hadn't seen your posts about it. The videography is top notch, keep em coming. I'd personally love it if you could also capture the human perspective since you probs know the language, maybe just a short comment on who frequents the shop, how's the business doing, how it's changed since the 90s, maybe they have some old pictures in the back of the shop or some story to tell about the current lineup, etc. Not always feasible and they're probably in working hours so maybe it's just polite not to interrupt them, but if it's possible it'd be a great addition to the already great videos.
Loved the video, my first for the channel, dunno if I should say this but, I could sense a massive degree of sadness coming from your soul. Heartbreak, loss, pain, something apparently insurmountable, love to you bro, whatever it is, if I could fix it I would, because y'know, I also sensed that whatever it is, you didn't/don't deserve it and it wasn't/isn't fair, and I don't know if it's a something or a someone or what, but, I just wanna say that creation doesn't make mistakes, and you do have a purpose, video was a cool insight, as a disenfranchised white guy here in england, I kinda romanticise the idea of living in Japan so I apreciate you showing it how it is, you can be broken here, you can be broken there, I'd love to hear your story, whatever it is, it might already be on the channel, I haven't looked yet, this too shall pass, perhaps it has already passed.
Pre-merger the logo was AMG as it was a privetely owned Tuner outside of MB. They were bought out by MB in the 90's with 1993 being the time the logo was changed to ///AMG meaning the C36 AMG was the first car launched from the merger (meaning post merger) and the rest is history. The pre-merger AMG's are highly sought after
The mirrios are different from each other I mean on all W124 the rigth mirror wider than the left one, no matter AMG, E500 or regular vesrsion of the Mercedes W124
What are those deep dish wheels these old amgs came with stock? They almost look like 3 piece rims. They almost have that “ flat dinner plate” Look but they are still “5 stars”?

Great video my friend. I have a 1997 W140 S600. It so true, trying to acquired those "old school parts" are few in between. I'm trying to build a "AMG Tribute Car". I just want to get all of those AMG body kits, trim parts, wheels, exhaust, remote control for the radio and etc, I have been lucky so far on acquiring all of those parts except for the AMG BBS wheels. but i'm working on it.
Thanks and good luck with the project!
I'm from Malaysia, I'm really interested in Mercedes but in Malaysia the market price and spare parts are still high and when I see this video I feel excited and thank you for the video
Thank you for the feedback!
Wild I just passed by this shop like 6 hours ago.
So good. Watching this video for the second time!
Wow, thanks!
i just found this channel and im loving it!
Welcome!! Glad you found it ! 🤙🏻
Those "stubby" mirrors you mentioned. They are asimetrical. So passenger one is smaller and driver side is bigger.
amazing to see; thank you for capturing & sharing this bro 🥂
I absolutely luv that era…best built Mercedes by far 👍🏾 !
So nice cars! Next time i have to visit this shop too
This is so fire, didn't know you had a youtube channel.
Thanks! Will definitely keep this in mind!
I'm touched by your concern. All good over here! Thanks!
The condition these are in is wild, mine and my parts car were nowhere near this well kept by the previous owners but this is the dream
Enjoyed that from Australia being a pre-meger fanatic (2 x C126 coupes & 1 x 560SEL all AMG kitted out))
Thank you for checking the video out! Didn't know that "pre-merger" was a term used to describe these cars
The pre-merger AMG's are highly sought after
Great to see another video so soon
Square Mercs FTW
I always wonder.. Was there a turbo W201 on the wangan? I have ridden in one with a fairly tame setup on a unopened M103, and they are fast
Seen a few...
The shop looks very beautiful, I might visit there when I go to Japan.
It's worth a visit for sure!
Just picked up a W210 TD and am already looking for another to add to the fleet lol.
This is the era of Best CARS ever made. Merc, porsch, bmw audi... . They are night Mare every smart man. They have a qality, sharm and respect❤
