This is truly an excellent performance, way better than the recorded one. There are hints of Tom Tom Club, B-52's, Maximum Joy, and Le Tigre, but everything sounds contemporary and connected to the present. Their own personal brush on the canvas. There's amazing musicianship, sense of timing, playfulness, and a sense of the band really enjoying the performance. Chord changes, key changes, the lot, and they make it look so easy. And, If you also actually listen to the brilliantly written lyrics, it's one of these times were a band captures the vibe of its generation. And blimey! All of them are beyond cute.
