Ordered a Kamiq Monte Carlo 1.5 tsi dsg in January and will hopefully have it in May. Disappointed that the UK spec doesn't have the remote boot opening unlike many other countries though. Apparently the Monte Carlo's for the UK market were originally built in Ukraine (or so the car salesman told me), but now come from Czechia, so just wondering if the standard Monte Carlo spec might be better and include remote boot release.
Kamiq is made only in Czechia, Mlada Boleslav. From Ukraine are cable harness used in Kamiq, which were initially in short supply due to the war in Ukraine early this year.
@@vasek571 Thanks, I thought the salesman was wrong. A great car though, I had a MB GLA 20 AMG Line, had to cut down on my budget this time, but this car is actually better than the GLA in so many ways.
Je to vlastně příjemný auto na běžný ježdění, který dělá věci správně. Občas jen DSG trochu krkolomně zafunguje, ale asi je to tím, že se na tom mění řidiči.

@@ohAmeerPalestine The dash has red ambient lightning, but no other areas inside the car do. Spec also depends on which country you are in.
