I'm not going to punch down and stoop to childish name-calling instead I'm going to explain in case anyone else didn't understand. My joke was that just because you change a few words does not make the joke original and it still counts as plagiarism. The comment, tho it was not a play on Mulaneys brilliant style of comedy, was written with a sarcastic tone and was ment to be a joke. Another note is that I didn't copy and paste my reply either, unlike Amy's content, mine was original. I used "we changed a few words so it's not plagiarism" as a set up for my joke to take the shot at Amy for her blunt plagiarism, maybe I didn't make it clear enough and that fault lies with me but my comment was clearly not meant to be taken seriously. I had thought that the Emojis would help get that point across but obviously it did not.

I think comedians hear jokes and then a few months later they say the joke thinking that they thought of the joke. It happens a lot. But when it happens as much as it happens with amy schumer she needs to realize that’s what is happening. And if she’s profiting off that material that she subconsciously stole basically that is copyright infringement.

    • @Ranger1812
      @Ranger1812 3 года назад +5

@@LizRealGirlBeauty Don't say "copycat". It's speciesist. It comes from "cat" being used to insult women, which is insulting to cats as they're used as an insult.
Only animals of human-level intelligence are capable of evil. Evil requires the full knowledge and understanding of what you're doing, and the choice made with full free will to do so. Not meeting any of those requirements means you can't be evil. You wouldn't put the same level of responsibility on human children and mentally disabled people, and you obviously shouldn't put it on animals of an entirely different species without human-level intelligence.
Level of intelligence doesn't make one animal more special than another. It's a trait you have, no different to running fast or jumping high. Evolution has no will. It's not trying to make other animals more human-like. Humans aren't some end-goal of evolution. Snakes aren't less evolved than humans because they have no limbs. It's not a disadvantage for snakes to have no limbs, it's an advantage for them, that's why they specifically evolved to be like that. Evolution isn't like climbing the rungs of a ladder, going from one species and class to the next in a set pattern. You evolve relative to your needs in order to reproduce. All life is equally evolved.
"A slug is as evolved as us. A slug got it right." - Ricky Gervais
Higher intelligence doesn't make you inherently better at all, and saying that totally disregards how stupid and evil humans are. It's nonsensical. That's anthropocentrism. You're projecting human traits and desires onto other life. You can't do that. They're not human, they're not supposed to have human-level intelligence. That's not something they desire or are working on. Humans aren't some standard-bearer for life, against which all other living things are compared. The second an alien race arrives that's more intelligent than we are, you will move the goalposts for what it means to be more special. You say it not because it's true, but because it currently benefits you.
Other animals aren't toys, or tools, or ornaments, or accessories. Leave other animals alone. They shouldn't be dressed up and posed for your amusement, or used however else you please. Having things put on them is uncomfortable, annoying, and they get in their way. They should only wear clothes if it's for their benefit, such as to keep them warm or dry.
Good doesn't excuse evil. Humans have a serious lack of empathy when it comes to other animals. They're not mindless machines. Their emotions aren't muted. Human ego is disgusting.
Humans always act like humans are right by definition. They're not. Humans' desire for food and pleasure isn't justification of evil. Don't kidnap, enslave, exploit, rape, torture, and murder other animals. Non-human animals' torture and murder isn't less important than your pleasure and health. Other animals aren't wrong for trying to escape enslavement or defend themselves.
It's not a case of "humans and animals". There's no distinction. Humans are animals. Humans are nature. Having human-level intelligence doesn't somehow stop you being an animal. That makes no sense whatsoever. It's specifically because you're an animal that you can have human-level intelligence. It is a trait of animals because an animal has it: humans.
Everything humans do is by definition animalistic, because humans are animals. And being an animal isn't an insult. It's awesome, and it's what lets you be you.
"Animal abuse" and "animal rights" include humans. Humans aren’t oh so special that they get their own distinction, whilst every other animal gets lumped in together. Humans are animals, and other animals should be treated with the same kindness, respect, and love that humans should be.
Don't generalise birds as "bird". You wouldn't generalise mammals as "mammal", and shouldn't generalise birds. It's a symptom of humans always viewing humans as individuals, but other animals as a collective, as their species, or class, or kingdom. Other animals are as much individuals as humans are. Human ego is disgusting.
Gellert Grindelwald said a lot of evil things, but he said at least one thing that was right: "The disapproval of cowards is praise to the brave."
I don't say that to brag, but to show the fact that you will be unpopular when you oppose an accepted evil, and that's a good thing.
The same logic used hundreds of years ago to justify the enslavement of black people and subjugation of women is used to justify speciesism: "It's the natural order of things", "it's just the way it is", "it works fine, stop causing problems." Speciesists support the status quo because it benefits them, it makes their life easy. They're repulsive. The staunch opposition of speciesism is only seen as extreme because of how deep most people are in their prejudice. But it isn't. It's no more extreme than saying black people should be equal to white people when in the 1700s; that is to say, society thinks it is, but they're wrong.
A few animals, like cats, dogs, rabbits, and rats, were specifically bred over hundreds, even thousands of years to live with humans. Other animals weren't. What they are is kidnapped, and locked in tiny cages and tanks for human amusement. They're not pet animals, they're slaves.
Breeding is evil. Animals are forced to have sex, which is rape. Females are treated like conveyor belts, pumping out child after child, all of whom are kept from their fathers and kidnapped from their parents, causing massive distress, fear, panic, and confusion. When no longer profitable, they're murdered or abandoned like a broken tool no longer of any use. And because of that, animals in shelters are left to squander, living out the rest of their lives in a tiny cage and devoid of freedom and the love of a family; that is, if they're not murdered. And it is murder, not euthanasia. Euthanasia is done for your benefit, but their lives are taken because looking after them is seen as a burden. Imagine the outrage if humans who weren't being adopted were killed. It's no different for other animals.
You're not feeding or walking someone unless you put the food straight into their mouth, or move their legs. When a waiter's brought you your food, you don't say they fed you. They brought you your food, they served you, you fed yourself. When you've been for a walk with a human, you don't say they walked you. You went for a walk together, you walked yourself. It's the same for other animals. Humans always try to make it seem as if other animals are absolutely incapable of doing even the most basic actions on their own, and humans are oh so kind and merciful for helping them.
Humans should always accompany cats outside, just as they do with dogs. Cats deserve to be able to go outside, same as anyone, they're not objects to leave locked up indoors for their entire lives, but it's incredibly dangerous for them, and they shouldn't be allowed to ravage ecosystems. Put a harness and lead on them and go with them.
Cats and dogs should have harnesses, not leads. Unless they don't like harnesses and are accustomed to collars, harnesses are better as they aren't around their neck and spread the applied force over a larger, stronger area.
Don't say "in the doghouse" like it's some bad place to be, that's ok for dogs, but not humans. That's disgusting. Doghouses shouldn't even exist. Other animals aren't toys that you put away when you're done with them. Dogs belong in a normal house, with their families. Species is irrelevant to family.
You can't own a living thing. They're not consumer goods to be bought and sold. They're not property. They're above monetary value. They're not toys for your amusement, or tools for you to use as you please. There'd be outrage if humans were treated like property. It's no different for other animals. That's speciesism. Humans are desperate to not call other animals their friends and family. We're not their owners, we're family.
Pet isn't an insult. That's horrible. A pet is an animal of another species, in your family, that you care for. They're your children, siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins, not some ornament to have around for novelty, to only pay attention to when you're bored. Species is irrelevant to family.
Other animals don't have "vets". They have doctors and health and medical care, just like humans. There'd be outrage if humans had different doctors and terms depending on their race. It's no different for species. Humans aren't oh so special and unique that they have doctors, whilst every other animal gets lumped in together as having "vets", no matter how similar to humans or dissimilar from each other they are. Humans aren't some absolutely unique species that can't possibly be compared with other animals, whilst all other animals, from 10cm-long frogs, which are amphibians, to chimpanzees that are 98.6% genetically identical to humans can be. That's incredibly speciesist.
Animals killed in shelters that are "euthanised" for not being adopted aren't actually euthanised, they're murdered. Euthanasia is done for your benefit. But it's not done for their benefit. It's done because they're viewed as a toy not one wants, so they're disposed of. They're already suffering by not having a loving home and family, and they're victimised for suffering that by being killed. Imagine the outrage if humans who weren't being adopted were killed. It's no different for other animals.
People spend money on war rather than conservation and care. Non-human animals' healthcare should be socialised, like it is for humans. Caring for other animals isn't a chore, it's a duty and privilege.

Littering's disgusting. Other animals have to walk on that floor, and right next to your rubbish. They don't want to and shouldn't have to do that. That's selfish. And things like balloons, Chinese lanterns, glitter, sequins, and microbeads don't decompose. They stay in the environment, and end up being swallowed by animals.
Joe Rogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Jake Roberts, The Undertaker, Braun Strowman, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Goldust, Ted DiBiase Jr., Lacey Evans, and Kayla Braxton are murderers. Fishing and other hunting is murder. Other animals' lives aren't your playthings. Help animals, don't murder them.
Other animals don't belong in the entertainment industry. They're not props to use on a set. Not only is it extremely stressful for them and wild animals are abused until they submit to human will, but how dare you deprive them of their life. Elephants that do tricks and give rides aren't happy. They do it out of fear of what happens if they refuse. Swimming with dolphins isn't fun. It's extremely stressful for them, and leads to them catching diseases. Beasts (animals that can't understand, create, and follow laws in human society) are slaves and viewed as tools for profit, nothing else.
Non-human animals being scared isn't funny or cute, it's horrible. Humans can understand it afterwards, that's why it's funny. Other animals can't. They're only scared, and upset, and confused. That's exploiting your power over them. How could you ever want to actively cause them fear? That's evil.
Anthropomorphising other animals is evil. It's saying other animals aren't good enough as they are so need to be more human-like, and ignoring how other animals actually feel, potentially leaving them to suffer whilst you revel in their stress, and fear, and confusion.
Hagrid didn't support using dragons in the Triwizard Tournament. That's horrific abuse. They were kidnapped, sent across the world, trapped in tiny cages they could barely move in, stabbed and hit with spells, and made to feel threatened and attacked whilst chained up in an arena surrounded by screaming humans. They were kidnapped, enslaved, exploited, and tortured, and yet humans vilify them and act like they're the victims because the dragons were angry, threatened, distressed, confused, and defending themselves. Humans act like they're always right by definition, and all other animals should know that and submit to them. Humans weren't the victims, the dragons were the victims.
Non-human apes, monkeys, and horses used on cards aren't smiling because they're happy. They do a "fear grimace", smiling in submission. They're not happy, they're abused.
Wild animals should only live in captivity if they can't survive in the wild or are in hospital, and their enclosures shouldn't be limited by space for humans to look at them. Humans have the entire planet but won't even give other animals a few extra feet.
Experimenting on non-human animals is evil. How dare you cause such immense suffering and murder. You're birthing them to torture them. They shouldn't be thankful to be alive at all, their life is torturous. What a miserable existence. That constant, unending torture is unimaginable for most people. The only experiments that should happen are on consenting humans. If you can't find a consenting human, the experiment doesn't happen. Knowledge doesn't take priority over life. That's why humans aren't experimented on without their consent, and the same should be true for other animals.
Freedom is what matters in life. You wouldn't trade freedom for comfort and safety, and have no right to force that on other animals.
All animals have the right to not be kidnapped, enslaved, exploited, raped, tortured, and murdered. Other animals' torture and murder isn't less important than your sensory pleasure. Go vegan. Veganism isn't just a diet, it's a lifestyle. This is farming:

Go deeper, why is nobody the first?
Many of the jokes shown here are extremely common. Most of them I heard in high school from other high schoolers before all these specials came out.
As an example, the Patrice skit about different 'sex pranks' takes content that's been on urban dictionary for more than 20 years. The bug difference between Patrice and Amy there being that she just used the same names you'd find on UD, while Patrice tried to rename them.
Except for some very specific stories that actually came from a person's life, you can look at a joke from anyone and if you go back far enough you realize it's nothing new.
When people say comedians are stealing jokes, to me it sounds the same as saying magicians steal tricks. Like, duh, we've been doing the same shit for hundreds of years.

I don’t think she actually steals jokes. I think she doesn’t write any jokes and the people who do steal jokes. A cluster fuck of lazy untalented brats.

Yeah, the popcorn joke did not seem like plagiarism. The Tammy Pascatelli joke seemed coincidental too. It was petty and desperate of Tammy to bring it up. But the writers for Inside Amy Shumer were shameless. And a lot of Schumer's standup material seemed much more identical to other comics.
