Wow this video is from 2012, I was going to rip into the mic situation but I'm sure they've figured it out by now. Shotgun mics are designed to be used from a distance... they have a boom pole for one of the mics, it should be overhead (facing down) above the frame and there is no need for the host to hold one.
Can we talk about how those microphones are super annoying!? @dennisg69 is right. Not to mention how the stereo separation is BACKWARDS from the viewers perspective...ugh.
Ok, so I understand that this is "behind the scenes" of a radio show, but if you're going to make videos you've got to get those mics out of the shot! So distracting and unprofessional.

I just love this show and stumbled across this video. I remember listening to this episode and what a treat it is to actually see it. :)
Great behind the scenes video of this fantastic radio program - terrific herbal salt recipe and ideas too!!
What a fantastic idea! I've never made herb salt and I will be doing that TODAY!
Loved the video and can't wait to try this! It's a radio show folks, get over it.
I’m a sharp knife fanatic... does choppping salt like that dull knives excessively?
Lovely! Thank you!!

Definitely something I will try : ).
I spotted a mic !
What is the point of having crystal clear sound but visually annoying phalic microphones?
