If there is say data validation xss wont work because it doesnt just trust what data u put into it to bypass this u have to create injections that it cant detect it is hard to do u need to really understand how websites work and what is happening with the data u give it u also need to understand how the protection is working

Depends on what you're coding. Generally, all OSes are good for coding, but if you want to do Bash, might want to use Linux/Mac. If you want to do Batch, you might want to use Windows.
