I think the reason people trade 3 of the same pet for a neon (such as frosts, parrots, shadows, etc) is because the person they're trading would rather trade away their pets than collect them. For example, 3 bat dragons will get better offers because you can trade each bat dragon for an overpay. But if you're trading a neon bat dragon, the value slightly decreases, and your overpays wont be as big.
The luckiest trade I got was pretty recent, this was a couple days after the duckling box came out, I traded a teen happy duckling for a RIDE FULL GROWN CHICKIN!!! at first I thought they were trolling then when I asked if this was a flex, they said it was their offer! Biggest win I have ever gotten!
My luckiest trades ever: - i once traded my fr ssbd for a cow - I once traded my fr pink cat with a bit of pet wears that weren’t valuable at all for a neon swan and a neon robot dog - someone gave me a Phoenix, Show pony, Alicorn, and a garden egg for free - I traded two low tier ultra rares and one low tier rare for a danger egg when the danger egg was gone

I traded my chick for Goldhorn(a good trade aswell) and after that the person who had nfr parrot ect traded me and put in all of those pets, I said sorry I don’t have a good enough offer, they said PLEASE! for Goldhorn? I thought they were trolling and happily said wait, are you sure? They then said of course! I have way too much spare and I don’t have a normal Goldhorn. They accepted and I was the happiest person in the world as I traded the pets to my main account.
