Agreed, the second largest brand in the biz - all over TV and with tons of fans...it's just trying to be colorful and different a little too on the nose. He's def not on the same level of Paul either. It feels weird for it to one minute be Tony calling out WWE as the Harvey Weinstein of wrestling....then turning around to try embrace fans as being 'sickos' I'm not gonna lie that's the phrasing I expect out of AE Vince and they're just not the same owners products are different too 🤷♀

@@reeseangle9621 fwiw i'm talking about paul heyman but Tony Khan isn't the only person involved in the formation of AEW, Shahid Khan the lead investor and co-owner with his son lol. it's not about starting something from scratch either. it's about having stronger mic skills, instead of wanting to be snappy/edgy I personally think the focus should be on the technical wrestling - AEW has a stronger visual appeal to me on that compared to WWE.

It's cool to hate AEW. If it fails, it has a lot to do with all the negativity, as it brings more viewers than positive news. It's a shame really.
