To be fair Mondstad gave us hospitality. Despite the matter with Dvalin they welcomed us and tried to help us, when we were unknown Travelers back then. Thinking back on it warms my heart.
I wanted to move my spawn into Fontaine, but I couldn't get myself to visit Fontaine for crafting, Adventure Guilds, etc. as much as I do with Mondstaft.
Considering the fact that its a "nation" of retarded helpless alcoholics that are being babysit by the knigts, yeah they are used to dealing with worse than the traveler xD
The Natlan story does two things a little different from previous regions: 1 - It centers around a proper fleshed out character we can pull, in contrast with Sumeru and Dunyarzad, for example 2 - All the characters stick with us throughout the story, joining us and inviting us, as opposed to sending us on errands and quests while they're doing something else It felt like I was part of the group instead of just running around fixing other people's problems and it was the most wholesome experience I've had in a long time.
Definitely the best Act 1 in terms of character set up. But the plot so far is definitely lacking an "oomph" factor overall. Hoping that gets resolved in 4.1
I don't think the first point applies. Coz Dunya is the only NPC character that acted as our guide of sort. Amber, Childe/Rex, Thoma, Dunya, Lyney and now Kachina. Only Dunya is the only NPC with act 1 centered around her

Like, in Inazuma they tried to make us sad about Teppei, who's an NPC. In Liyue there was a lot of trying to get the Adepti's attention, who weren't even characters until recently. This was just all about the characters we pull and NPCs were genuinely just there as props. That's my first impression at least, though I'm sure it's possible the argue differently depending on what you focus on. Mondstat could be the exception to point 1? It was a long time ago.

Abyss Order is just a Group of Abyssal creatures(mostly from khaenriah) who's utilizing the usage of Abyssal powers to wage war with the heavenly principles Abyss itself is both a place and also a source of power Kinda like how the Primordial Sea is a place and can also be a source of power like how the whale and that Boss from Fontaine world quests uses Primordial Sea to empower themselves Even the Sinners are actually just Utilizing Abyssal powers, they just had much deeper connection to the Abyss compared to the Abyss Order

I found the introduction to Natlan not as immediately enticing as some of the other nations. Like its immediate hook. However, they did really well with letting you play the characters in actually experiencing their growth/role in the story. The later half of act 2 popped off for sure.

But on its extent, it could either acquire its power, or it could stain and corrupt the existence. 😕
I know bran will not probably see it but reason why people tend to get nose bleeds when in saunas, steam rooms and so on is because blood as anything expand under heat, increasing blood pressure, and if it's get too high some of weaker nose veins tend to break under it.
First time we play as someone else while the traveler is an npc watching in an archon quest, finally something new, this should have happened in the other nations as well.
While i do like both Natlan Archon Quest so far and really enjoyed the cutscenes (especially the Mavuika one in Act II, iykyk), i do have to say contrary to most people here i was a little bit disappointed because the story didnt hook me like the Fontaine Opening did. To be fair, the murder mystery stuff in Fontaine is right up my alley as i love crime stories und the court etc, but also in comparison to the other Nations' openings it was missing sth for me. Like in Sumeru with the Samsara or Liyue with the dragon/ archon dying Also, i expected the pilgramige to last for a lot longer and would've loved that. Nontheless i really enjoy the new characters (so hyped for Mavuika!) and also did like the story so far, just not as much as the Fontaine opener. But im very much excited to see where this path will lead us! 🥰🔥

Remember this, anything happened on the whole lore from Mondstadt until here could have it's purpose, so flashbacks and past deeds are still relevant, and this is one of the example.
So in theory, the Traveler *could* have awaken an abyssal power on its own, since s/he's immune to it. The purification is something no one in Teyvat could do, even archons and sovereigns. But on its extent, it could either acquire its power, or it could stain and corrupt the existence. 😕

I know bran will not probably see it but reason why people tend to get nose bleeds when in saunas, steam rooms and so on is because blood as anything expand under heat, increasing blood pressure, and if it's get too high some of weaker nose veins tend to break under it.

First time we play as someone else while the traveler is an npc watching in an archon quest, finally something new, this should have happened in the other nations as well.
While i do like both Natlan Archon Quest so far and really enjoyed the cutscenes (especially the Mavuika one in Act II, iykyk), i do have to say contrary to most people here i was a little bit disappointed because the story didnt hook me like the Fontaine Opening did. To be fair, the murder mystery stuff in Fontaine is right up my alley as i love crime stories und the court etc, but also in comparison to the other Nations' openings it was missing sth for me. Like in Sumeru with the Samsara or Liyue with the dragon/ archon dying
Also, i expected the pilgramige to last for a lot longer and would've loved that.
Nontheless i really enjoy the new characters (so hyped for Mavuika!) and also did like the story so far, just not as much as the Fontaine opener. But im very much excited to see where this path will lead us! 🥰🔥
