Read the Manga because They missed out on alot of character development and spammed death way too quickly,the anime skipped a lot of stuff that was in the manga, because the chapters come out so slowly. You should definitely go read the manga and the manga is significantly darker than the anime.

My bookshelf isn’t the most organized so the volumes are kind of all over the place but one day I’ll sort them out and figure out which volume I need to read next and finish the series!
