The instructions don't say it but there are two nuts and washers along with a wrench to "bolt" the front of the safe into the bracket. The bracket has two threaded posts that go through the bottom of the safe, the washers and nuts go inside the safe on the threaded posts. The instructions left out a pretty important step...

MAXSafes Home Security Co. Once you mount the bracket underneath the desk and slide the body in what is stopping the drawer and case being removed from the bracket and carried out in a back pack ?

just installed mine its pretty nice only thing i dont like so far is closing it you need to push it in pretty hard for it to latch n lock shut and opening it it doesn’t cleanly slide out it goes like half way then u gotta pull im hoping it all just needs to break in

Does the safe pull out of the bracket that you install to the desk? Hoping that it doesn't, I'd like to have the safe itself not be stolen

Jonny Xtendo congradulations on your new ownership of the MAXSafes underneath desk slide drawer model. Is there anything that hampers an unwanted person from just sliding the body and drawer away from the bracket and leaving with it ? Thanks for taking time out to answer this question.

@@aberodriguez4149 Hey man, not sure if you still needed help with this, it can be removed from the bracket even while the safe is locked, I'm going to figure out a way to make it so that it can't be pulled out, may need to pin it into the bracket

@@aberodriguez4149 otherwise, the safe is insanely high quality and I'd definitely recommend it

@@cardcrushingg Thanks so much for the information, I wound up going to another manufactural that has also a slide drawer safe concept and even though it does not come with the vein reader just the key pad and biometric reader this was good enough for me. The safe housing screwed onto the bracket itself. But I used industrial glue (E6000) to give it additional bonding strength, so now either the thief is going to haul away with the furniture or waste additional time in trying to break in. Maybe you can use E6000 to give you additional binding strength it takes 72 hours for the glue to reach full curing time but it's worth it. Thanks again for your information.
