2024 Dallas, Texas Vacation Day 4: The Journey Home

On this day, Monday, March 25th, 2024, I left Dallas, Texas, and did my journey back home to Orlando, Florida, ending my 2024 Dallas, Texas vacation.
This emotional and final day of my trip began with me waking up, doing my morning routine, and having a breakfast on my own, since my aunt and uncle were still asleep. I had the other half of my Chocolate Tower Truffle cake from “Cheesecake Factory”, a jumbo double chocolate muffin, a bowl of vanilla yogurt, and 2 heated-up slices of leftover cheese-stuffed crust pizza.
I then finished packing my suitcase, duffle bag, and laptop bag, and then after a while, and after my aunt and uncle woke up, I gave my Uncle Phil a final goodbye, and then, my Aunt Jo Ann and I began the drive to the “Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport”. Once at the airport, I got dropped off, said a final goodbye to my Aunt Jo Ann, and then she drove, and I was alone once again.
I then checked in my suitcase without any issues, and then went through the TSA checkpoint without any issues. Once through the checkpoint, I had a lunch from the nearby “Panera Bread” restaurant in the terminal, and then after having my flight transferred to a different departure gate than its previous one, I found it, and sat down for a bit. My flight got delayed by over an hour or so, but soon, it finally arrived, and I boarded without any issues.
A while later, the plane was full, the door was sealed, the safety briefing occurred, and finally, after taxiing down the runway, the plane finally took off into the sky, and this officially began my journey back home. After close to 3 hours, my plane finally landed at “Orlando International Airport”, and then, I got off, and went to the baggage claim area to grab my suitcase. I then went to the airport’s food court, and I had a burrito and chips from “Moe’s Southwestern Grill”.
After my dinner, I finally requested a “Lyft” car, and then after a while, it arrived, and after loading my bags into the trunk, it began the drive back to my house. It was a 45-minute drive back to my house in Davenport, Florida, and I finally got back to my house. Once back home, I unloaded my bags from the trunk, and went back inside my house as the “Lyft” drove. I then took over an hour to unpack all my bags, put all the stuff away, put all dirty clothes into the hamper, and do my nighttime routine, before heading to bed.
And that was about the extent of my vacation to Dallas, Texas in 2024, lasting from March 22nd to March 25, 2024. I really had a great time there visiting my aunt and uncle and I plan to do it again sometime in March 2026. I don’t regret the activities I did there and I’m already starting to plan what I’m gonna do in 2026!
