Rarely do redesigns turn out so well received.
Legacy outfits will be available anyway, so I always find it weird when people complain too hard about new designs. Rather get something new sometimes than nothing ever changing

So, it is not exactly like the developers just came up with the idea of covering her. Imo, the design is OK, but nothing to be really fascinated with.

I can’t believe I’m so accustomed to seeing cammy’s original apparel that I forget she’s walking around with her cheeks out like it’s normal.
So she does that neck twist anime move in Street Fighter x Tekken as well… and was the first one to do it. Interesting. A lot of people thought Street Fighter 6 was the first to do it.
Street Fighter Alpha Cammy will always be my favourite no matter how much I appreciate every other iteration.

I love that her pigtails got progressively longer and longer as her appearances increased, from SSF2 where they went to just below the small of her back to SF5 where they were well past her ass almost to the back of her knees... then in SF6 they get cut off completely.
She doesn´t look like Cammy anymore and they seem to go with the woke approach of MK now.

Cammy is my favorite street fighter, and I love the Bob cut in Street Fighter 6. She is still rocking her heritage and culture with the symbol on her jacket.

Been a fan of Cammy's since she debuted in SF2 The New Challengers. The green leotard and pigtails is iconic, but since SF6 came out, she's never looked better IMO. She just looks so badass! Glad they added the OG outfit to SF6 though, I'll use it when I'm feeling nostalgic.

that Character design in SF6 is damn near the perfect female form..thick in all the right places..thhose designers were going for perfection...and they got close..they made her boobs smaller than in SF5 ..but it suites her design as just a hyper fit woman..who clearly spends alot of time in the gym doing functional training.

If that were the case then no one would care about her new design, since it's literally just yoga pants, a crop top and nondescript boots. And unlike Ryu's gi, Cammy's original outfit actually just works together well with her entire look and is more than just a plain leotard, as well as she wears it. Her boots, cover and gloves have always been unique and even the leotard itself always has some sort of patterned or added accent from game to game. Even just the cut of it. More than that, lbr, most people tend to not notice how good an outfit like that can look on a body that's that lithe and fit, just because it's less clothing. The body and skimpiness is literally part of the fit at that point.

And tbh her delta red outfit just doesn't make sense for her SF6 story arc. It's clear from both the SF site and the reveal trailer Cammy graduated to covert ops.

I know it's sad to see such an old, iconic look go, but... if I am honest, she never really looked all that cool to me. The uni colored leotard might have worked well in 8 bit, where a lack of details in the clothing is perfectly fine, but now in high resolution 3D, it looks really weird on her.

Everyone thinks people that don't like the 6 graphics are complaining about the redesigns and costumes or something...
It's not the designs for me - I don't care about clothing, the body proportions in SF6 are just off on a lot of characters and some of the faces are bad.
Cammy's hips are just unnecessarily wide for no reason in 6, and she looks really tall where she's always been a small and petite figure character.
There are loads of characters where the proportions have been tweaked to stupidity - Chun Lis legs are about 30-50% thicker than in previous SF games... why? Guiles arms and upper torso are massive for no reason... Manons whole body is horrible... even Marisa is stupidly proportioned. Zangief is huge, maybe even a bit too big - but at least in proportion (possibly). Marisa has no waist and basically just looks like a male character with Magnetos helmet on (what even is that hair?).
I just hate what they've done with the characters bodies. Faces are generally ok apart from Chun-Li who I feel doesn't really look Chinese anymore and Ryu where they've kept his eyebrows that fly off his head but made his face realistic which looks silly.
Cammy is pretty bad facially though - I'm not sure if she's supposed to have a 5-head because she's older but it looks like she's one of those cosmetic surgery addicts who has a pint of lip fillers in...
so dramatic. just stfu and enjoy the game

Don't know why this keep happening but, had to correct....Cammy FIRST APPEARENCE wasn't in Street Fighter II, was on Super Street Fighter II the New Challengers, I have seen some videos saying or inclining that she debut in SFII and that is wrong. Sorry to nitpick.
the super series is still considered Street Fighter 2, its essentially a patch to the original game... same as Championship Edition and Turbo.
No super street fighter 2 added super moves n 8 new fighters so it's not the same game.

Man looking back at sf4. I realized how fluid the animations are compared to its sequel. SFV just looks so clunky.
Love the redesign. Personally I love her old hair more, but the rest of it is top notch, even down to them having the foresight to include those belts on her jacket, which hang down just like her braids used to, which keeps her iconic silhouette the same. Very smart and it shows they have a respect for the character and that she's not JUST a thirst trap, to the point where you can even say that the now infamous stretch make sense because she loves cats, and its similar to how cats stretch themselves out after a nap. A surprising amount of thought went into her here, I suppose that's fitting for one of gaming's most recognizable characters.

I like more the style of SFIV and SFV than the new SF6 in terms of 3d models and designs, the renderer itself is obviously superior but I still prefer the old designs.
Also the classic skins are much better than the new ones.

Street Fighter 6 Cammy is definitely more of a devolution.
100% most of the characters are. The only one's that look awesome IMO are Zangief and Honda. Even Guile who's face looks good, they made him WAY too upper body dominant to the point his upper arms are bigger than his legs... it's kinda backwards, they've upped the proportions (Chun Lis legs are bigger than ever, Guiles arms, Manons feet are massive etc) but made the game look more realistic which really doesn't work together for me, feels really weird and makes me feel a bit ill in some cases.

After xmen vs street fighter it gets to hard to follow with the eye. WAY to much is going on in the background (rotation, objects) and special move animation & cutscenes that it gets ridiculously overbearing to the eye.
