It's RUclips, I should've known. Not saying 'thank you' to the delivery guy, ARROGANT PRICK!
People, the delivery guy is not really a 'delivery guy'. Do you really think I've got 3 camera's in my hallway rolling 24/7 on 120fps to get a shot of me sliding on my socks to open the door in case the doorbell rings? Haha ;) My real delivery guy is my best friend!

Hey man, off topic. I'm a drummer and I consider buying cheap, but decent e-kit. Could you say something about Millennium MPS 850? I don't care that much about sounds in module, as it will be hooked up to pc and drum vst. I'm more interested in how well is this set built? I mean materials and stuff. How reactive it is? Etc etc. Can you tell me your honest opinion? Thank you very much!

    • @SkyFireRain1
      @SkyFireRain1 5 лет назад +9

@@dariusz_darson_8968 Hey mate, if you want to record drums via midi (vst plugins) this one is a very good choice. The quality is really good if you pay attention to the price.
You will get a good sounding module with great options, a mechanical hihat, 2 crashes and 4 toms as well.
      But:
If you want to spend a bit more money, you can check out the Roland TD-17KL drumset. Yes, you dont get that much features like the "real hihat" but the trigger sensitivity is better and there are more options on the module.
Please be kind to each other and have a nice evening. :)

Hey Paul I have a similar story. I fell in love with my 69 Thinline in 30 seconds of playing it as well. The gentleman who owned it ( who is a guitar/amp wiz) Vic Germano had bought it new from a custom shop in Sherman Oaks California USA. It's MIM so it's different than a custom shop. But it was made exquisitely. His mission for buying it was to mount a Piezo bridge pickup so he would have an acoustic sound and take advantage of the the semi hollow body. So not to disfigure the original look of the instrument he made the tone knob the control for the Piezo. So both knobs control volume either for the front two Tele pickups or the Piezo. The beautiful thing is being able to blend them for acoustic/electric combinations. I like you have my favorite instruments but this one has captured my attention to say the least. My good buddy Paul Manoogian is a killer Geetar picker in my network here in California and just now snagged a thinline and can't put it down.
Ok so enough gloating. I love your channel Paul. Your playing is off the hook. Your attention to detail is so inspiring and your whole presentation is second to none. I'm slow in my involvement with social media but I've learned so much from you and others like you the importance of engagement. You are so easy to watch and listen to. Your film making skills are just as tasteful as your guitar playing. You do it all with great care and creativity. Bravo Mr Davids.

How about a Chinese Les Paul, a frontal cortex with high IQ and low EQ, one left hand that's calloused and gorilla strong, and a right eyeball with 20/13 vision (highly valuable).

I bought a Squier Thinline Tele as my first electric guitar in January and I love it. It was a sweet coincidence that the guy that runs what would end up being my favourite guitar channel plays a similar model!

Hey Paul! Is that riff around 5:46 based on something in particular? I'd love to learn it! Beautiful guitar, by the way. Congrats!

It's an awesome tele, with nicest shaped pick guard I've ever seen on telecasters

Oh. That final melody. You can buy CS guitar, but you can't buy that blue feel. Just one thing bothers me - why would you play such sad melody when you bought new guitar?

I knew it was a thinline tele after the second sneak peak, where you could see some of the pickguard and controls. There isn't really any other guitar that looks that way.

Yeah, the pickguard is a Thinline highlight

Jeez man, I have to say that I am 100% jealous on this one. I am not a big fan nor ever was of telecasters in general as being more of a medal/prog rock guy but this thing sounds like a dream. I am super happy for you, congratulations! Can't wait for more vids with it!

My next guitar is gonna be a custom built Kiesel. Their price & quality is amazing.

I just grabbed a custom Kiesel myself a few months ago. They are insanely good with what you want and what I got was far better than I expected. Mind you it's an 8-string multiscale fan-fretted monster and still it was flawlessly designed and made with love and care.

I felt exactly the same way with the American Elite Thinline Tele. The day I saw that in the shop, I was playing that thing for 2 HOURS. I was late for work that day, but it so worth doing.
