    There are a lot of artists on RUclips who paints photorealistically but I would prefer to learn this kind of technique instead. I always admire artists like you sir where each brushstrokes simply come to life without having to put too much detail in the picture but still capture the subject beautifully and realistically.

    • @SoumilSahu
      @SoumilSahu 5 лет назад +16

      Check out Peter draws. He doesn't do paintings, but it's essentially what you said. He keeps drawing seemingly random lines, and out comes a piece making you feel it was planned to look that way from the start

    • @milestiller665
      @milestiller665 5 лет назад +19

      Soumil Sahu Peter Draws is great, yet I feel his style is almost an exact opposite of this. He focuses a lot of line and form whereas Mr Shibasaki emphasizes color and feeling. I admire both of them greatly. I feel that Peter Draws uses his random lines technique as simply an idea starter rather than a philosophy to live by.

    • @SoumilSahu
      @SoumilSahu 5 лет назад +2

      @@milestiller665 yeah I see where you're coming from. Art has as many interpretations as there are people to interpret it.

      @@SoumilSahu That's what is so great about. People can see beauty in anything. One person may find Mr. Shibasaki's watercolor paintings as the pinnacle of beauty, and another may find Peter Draws'. It's all up to interpretation.

    だいぶ前の動画ですが、感動しました。小学校で水彩をやり始めてちょっと経ったくらいの子どもにこういうのを見せたいですね。

    バラはいつも描くのが難しく思っていました。先生が描き方を説明しながら教えて下さるので、とても解りやすくて参考に成りました。今度tryしてみます。

    Thank you for this educational video! I enjoyed watching you paint that beautiful rose. When you held it up to the camera at the end, the rose looked so pretty. I honestly felt like I was in painting class again! Haha!

    This is the single most beautiful painted rose I have ever seen. Never thought that such a thing of beauty could arise from brushstrokes that were anything but self-conscious. You put Redouté to shame, Sir! :')
