The game tricks you. If you are trying to "not kill a boss", some people are like: I wanna fight for a bit. As soon as some of their lives reach 50%, the next blow is fatal in some bosses. Because you are "playing with their lives"

I've never played the game, but the soundtrack does the same for me. It's really good. A perfect balance of simple and complex. It's incredibly emotive and thematic. Some of the best vidya music I've heard in many many many years. Imo, you can really hear that Toby is a pianist in the soundtrack. I spent a lot of time in my past hearing songs in my head, playing them out on piano, recording them, and transcribing them into music with a daw. His OSTs strike a special chord in me because they remind me of what I've lost in myself.

So... Dunkey went to the barrier, killed Flowey, then was teleported to Snowdin Forest, where he encountered Greater Dog, initiating the Lesser Dog fight, which is the final boss of the game?
Its kinda boring in the RUINS and battling normal monsters but its still fun somewhere after the Snowdin area. My favourite are is probably the waterfall tbh. End genocide fights are cool too. Like Undyne's genocide fight is my favorite tbh. After you defeat her, she starts to die and melt but she was glad that she was able to stop you for a while and stall time for the monsters to hide from you. That kinda hit me in the gut.
I’ll admit, I never watched any play throughs so this is all new to me. I was greatly amused and glad my first experience of the game was this. I just found his channel today and have been bingeing. Love this dude.
If you decide to play it, word of advice. If you want the best ending possible, don't kill anything. For the most part, you can get through battles just fine without ever choosing 'Fight'. Yeah, you won't get 'stronger', but that's actually a good thing. Trust me.

It's not an amazing game. The actual game is boring. What you mean is, Undertale is such an amazing story and idea.
Its kinda boring in the RUINS and battling normal monsters but its still fun somewhere after the Snowdin area. My favourite are is probably the waterfall tbh.
End genocide fights are cool too. Like Undyne's genocide fight is my favorite tbh. After you defeat her, she starts to die and melt but she was glad that she was able to stop you for a while and stall time for the monsters to hide from you. That kinda hit me in the gut.

If you decide to play it, word of advice. If you want the best ending possible, don't kill anything. For the most part, you can get through battles just fine without ever choosing 'Fight'. Yeah, you won't get 'stronger', but that's actually a good thing.
