- Sheikh Ali Al-Hudaify was an imam and Khateeb of Quba Mosque during 1978. In 1979 he became an imam of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi. In 1981, during the month of Ramadan, he was appointed as imam for the Tarawih prayers in Masjid al-Haram and then he went back to Great Mosque of Medina where he continues to lead prayers

I used to listen to Sudais Shuraim and Hudhaifi when I was about 11 in 1994. Hudhaifi's voice was special for me because evertime I listen to him its like sakeenah coming down on me. So simple yet so effective.
Also Sheikh Muhammad Ayub voice was soothing too

when i was small saudi channel 1 his recitation use to come early morning am talking of 90s .till now same voice masha Allah
At 2023 i had hajj with my wife... I m so happy and I m Miss that.. two mosque Mekkah Al Mukaromah, Nabawi Madinah Al Munawwarah... I had heared imam syekh Ali hudayfi, Yaser Al Dosary, Bandar Balela and the other imam... 😢 I want go back there with my little family and my mom for umrah... Amin ya rabbal alamiin...

MashaAllah the voice is same as heard in 80's and same appears in 20's. May Allah (SWT) give him good health to lead the prayers. Al Humdullilah I have prayed behind him in Fajr prayers which he always lead the Fajr prayers very often. May Allah (SWT) accept from everyone of us. Aameen Ya Rabb

Alhamdulillah .. 1980 I had an opportunity to live and work as the site engineer for madina electric co head office project I n mecca road . Staying close to MASJID NAWABI . Sh Ali Hudaify used to lead the Fajer prayer and most of the Magrib prayers . I used to prepare myself to join this prayers under him because I never heard this voice of quran recitation anywhere else in the world as I had opportunity to travel into many countries and attented prayers . None like sh.Ali al hudaify . May Allah bless him all the very best in life. .

Also why I prefer to watch madinah live is cuz the sheikh takes a good deal of time to finish a salah even at this age may Allah grant him good health, which is completely opposite in most of other imaams around the world.
