    I love the quality of your videos. You're not over the top and obnoxious like most RUclipsrs nowadays and I appreciate that. Top that with good quality videos and good info, I think you'll be growing quick!

      Great video, great footage. 👍 Are you not concerned about slamming your transducer around on the ice?

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  2 года назад

      @@yutzybiz appreciate it! Are you talking about taking it out of the hole when I catch a fish? Yeah that’s definitely not ideal. When I know I’m fishing an area for a while I usually drill an extra hole for my transducer itself, but tough to take the time when hole hopping…

    First vid of yours I seen. Great content that's very enjoyable to watch & learn from. You limit the music to the intro, and is tastefully done. Great editing, especially with the marginal conditions. I've now went and checked out a few of your other vids. Your doing a stellar job, right up there with the best on the tube !

      Thank you very much! These comments really mean a lot. 🙏 there’s still a lot to learn and a lot to improve on, but that’s what makes it fun! Thanks again for the kind words!

    Nice work! Doesn't get much better with the livescope cam! I run the same little sled setup. Get yourself one of those plastic rod holders and screw it into the side of the sled.

      Agreed! It ends up being even easier than carrying a flasher around. Definitely looking forward to getting some rod holders in there

      Appreciate it! I ran the base amber color for a long time, but I started using this more for filming and love it!

    Nice Video, It's amazing how many do not show the basics of the contour map, depth and the reason for choosing the breakline they are fishing.
    I was thinking about how to rig my new sled for mobility as well.
    Happy New Year.

      Thanks, Troy! Yes, I leave my bail open so the fish can run. I got the spoons from frostbite.com

    Great Video ! That must have been a lot of fun! What size spoon were you using? Also, why don't you buy you one of the fish grabber tools/weigher? That would help you get the big ones our of the hole and you would not lose the fish?

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  2 года назад

      It was a blast for sure! I typically use a small to medium size spoon like a 1/16 or 3/16. I feel like the fish grabber might be even harder to grab the fish quickly because it needs to be in the lip. You could use a gaff, but not with fish you are going to release. Not sure a great solution, but sometimes that’s just fishing!

    Nice Video, TJ. Too bad that last pike broke you off, it's more painful when they get away with the lure. It was a good reminder for me to keep good management of the line. great work. keep them coming. i love pike ice fishing videos 👍🏻
