This is why guys often settle whereas women always try and get the best they can, thinking they are entitled to it just because they are a woman. I tried with a girl I went to school with and ended up working with. She gave me her number, but when I rang it, it was a wrong number. I thought no one wanted me for a while because I was too scared to ask girls out. Then I started by complimenting random people. And moved on to simply asking girls out. I thought. “Well it’s either I get rejected or nothing happens. So I’d rather get rejected and know for sure no one likes me” little did I know that my personality was actually good enough to naturally pick up girls. I have done a challenge with my friend in the city and was able to get like 20 girls numbers in one day. It’s not as hard as you think. The hardest part is really just the initial approach and figuring out an opener. I usually start with a simple unrelated question that allows the conversation to naturally flow. If I notice she’s not interested with her body language I just back off. But usually saying something like a compliment or witty little joke using simple but very exaggerated logic works. I have social anxiety so I still get very nervous but once I get through the initial opener I’m a goat at smooth talking both men and women. I even noticed how maliciously manipulative I could be at times. (Not trying to boast, but I’m just an average loner dude with like typically no social skills with like 20 matches on tinder, that just sorta decided to start approaching people for fun and it worked out)
I still have trouble keeping the girls after. But that’s a story for another day lmao 🤣

What I have finally learned from all of this is.... Approaching women and dealing with women is like approaching and dealing with anything in life. You have to study under a real guru, stick to the basics, and it's not human nature. Everything has to be perfected or refined enough to be useful for us. It's like most men might hate this content because it shows them what they could have figured out if they really took the time to focus on it. My focus was in a different space for a reason but now you have brought me back to the basics. This is how you can see if a girl gave you the right number. When you ask for it and she gives it to you, read it back to her BUT switch up one digit or 2. If she corrects you, it was the right number. If she doesn’t, then she dogged you.

The reason all of these start out (or stay) so awkward, is because the approaches are unnatural. Just stepping in front of someone while they're walking is not an approach. It's a body block and it immediately give people the feeling of uncomfortability.
Walk beside them, and get their attention. They'll be comfortable. If they stop, you'll know at least 1 of 2 things. You sparked their interest, and/or they find you attractive. Confidence alone isn't enough.
Tip: The best conversation starter is a complement or another form of physical observation about the girl. Not, "Hey, this might sound weird" or "I know this is completely random, but".
Something as simple as "I like your hair" will get you 10X more points than "Hey, this is completely random, but what did you wear for halloween yesterday."
First, yes, it's completely random. 2. You didn't have to tell her it was, she was smart enough to figure that out herself. 3. Don't ever start a conversation with an unknown and put the ball in their court. You don't know if she dressed up for halloween. Maybe she couldn't go out that night. Maybe she was upset about it. And now you're introduction is laced with a bad memory and negative emotion. 4. Your haircut is fucking dumb. I say that with love.

Definitely works! An additional warm up tip that works is to start conversations with random people to get into a social mood. Talking to girls is easier when you're able to relax and feel comfortable talking to everyone regardless of looks, status, age, etc.

Btw, me and my friends had lots of cases when they had boyfriends but still hooked up, often then appeared that that boyfriend either just a friend, or they have open relationships, or she has problems with him and want to break up or yeah, there were no boyfriend at all, and this is something she learned to say when she just feel not comfortable.

So here is my story.
Me and my ex broke up about a year and a half. Bevor her i was extremly confident with random girls( flirting, making jokes and have a good time not only in the sexual way. After we broke up my game turned upside down. Since today i dont have the confidence to even talk to a women(cant even do that when I'm drunk) even tho im pretty good looking and my physice is fine (big back, chest and just a little belly).
I pray to god to find that confidence again one day.

This reminds me of my younger days! I didn't "cold approach" girls on the street like that (not usually), but I did made a point of interacting and engaging in conversation often, with very different persons and not necessarily only with girls I found attractive.
Very much like this guy, I wasn't the best-looking guy, I made mistakes, etc., but I did end up dating girls I loved and cared for. It was sometimes a bumpy road, yet it was a success and it was fun! These were also different times... early 1990's = no Tinder, no social medias and basically zero Internet... you always met women in person; there were no iPhones, but girls who wanted to be left alone usually carried a book or something to be immersed with.
If you are sensible in your approach, you won't look creepy, at least not very often and not to a horrific degree, especially if you're in your late teens or 20s.
It's only a matter of time before you hit on a girl who thinks you are her "type"... You feel it instantly when a girl really likes you. She will be happy that you approached her!
