This game introduced me to a whole new trend, a genre of art & music, it’s the reason I’ve been into Synth/Retrowave for a while now. Very few other games out there that can hold a place as special as that.

There is not going to be a new Hotline Miami. And to be honest, it's for the best. I love those games, but they are perfect the way they are. The story conveys everything that we need to know to get the bigger picture and anything else would be unnecessary and pointless. Atleast we have the level editor with lots of awesome custom levels
I hope they give me a third pressing of the first soundtrack on vinyl that I can finally sleep at night. I have the soundtrack from hotline miami 2 but at the time the first hotline miami vinyl came out I wasn't 18 and the second is not the same.

Two of my favourite games of all time, the BEST music tracks and kickass visuals, can't recommend it enough. Seriously wish we could get a third installment!
It's amazing how this game literally changed my life, for some pople it's just a funny arcade game with a badass soundtrack, but if you follow the story, the dialogs and everything surroundings you, it's something else
Idk why people keep asking for HM3, 2 had pretty much a perfect ending (and a pretty absolute one at that). The HM games are some of my fav games of all time but i'd rather leave at a high note than with a possibly and likely worse sequel.
Hell yes baby. I've been waiting so long for this. Granted I have the PS4 version/PS VITA version, The Steam version and now I am buying the switch version and the XBOX ONE version. I love the Hotline Miami series so much and I am just so proud to have kickstarted the Hotline Miami Vinyl LPs and got the 1st press. The games are works of art and it reminds me of 2 games. PS1 GTA and the kill skills of Bulletstorm and surprisingly the game evaluates your kills like Devil May Cry. Hotline Miami is flat out phenomenal.

I own both already on the PS4, but if you haven't played them yet you should. It's fast-paced but surprisingly tactical and has a storyline that makes you think... Also look into Enter The Gungeon, which was made by the same people if I recall.
In two years they should celebrate their 10th anniversary by selling the HOTLINE MIAMI Vinyl again. If they want so they can sell it for 200 dollars as long as I can buy it and as long as it is cheaper and newer as on ebay.
I don’t really think the whole ending moral of it is that odd it’s just a fact of life people avoid. (Spoilers) Hotline Miami 2 at least was mainly about how different characters cope with their impending doom, richter was the only character that just accepted it and understood that everyone dies so you shouldn’t fear it. The Biker saw what would happen and he literally and metaphorically tried to run away from it and he was the only character that survived the ending.
If Hotline Miami 3 does come out (which it wont lol) either Welcome Back, The Way Home, Dust, or this trailer music should be the teaser soundtrack and the teaser could be like a recap of the events in the timeline.
