환한 미소를 가진 모닝 선생님ㅎㅎ 인터뷰 잘 담아 주셔서 감사합니다. I'm Joni, the first Korean teacher. Here are some tips for Korean learners! Choose content that you enjoy and watch it. It's important to get a lot of exposure to the target language. The key is that you need a lot of input. I recommend watching content without subtitles, even if you don't understand everything. It will require a lot of patience, but it will really help improve your Korean skills. Variety shows, sitcoms, or daily life programs are great since they're entertaining and full of expressions you can actually use in everyday life. Talking with a Korean teacher in lessons is also a form of input. It helps you speak and pick up Korean naturally. I recommend trying out a lesson on italki with a teacher who matches your learning style. And remember, you won't output as much as you input, but that's perfectly normal. You're not a computer! ㅋㅋㅋ If you prioritize learning Korean, you'll definitely become fluent over time :)

죠니 쌤, 인터뷰 재미있게 해주셔서 감사합니다!😃 And thank you for sharing these useful Korean learning tips. I agree that watching Korean content without subtitles helps a lot, as you get used to hearing Korean spoken and learn the correct and natural tone and intonation😊

선생님 덕분에 인터뷰 정말 즐겁게 했어요🎉 감사합니다!! I'm the 3rd teacher(Garam/가람) from the video, and it was such a big pleasure to have an interview with a teacher Morning❤ Korean is an EASY & DIFFICULT language for reasons but, as many others also said, it is POSSIBLE to master it with a structured guide. Start today, and don't give up! 포기 하지마세요😍

The observation Garam씨 made about how Korean rises in difficulty I think is 100% true. Early on when I was learning I was able to make progress while only studying a few hours a week, but now that I'm a while in I've increased to studying 1-2 hours a day to maintain steady progress.
Outside of the content of the video (which was interesting!) this format of video where native speakers speak using reasonably natural speed and vocabulary with both sets of subtitles is really helpful for intermediate-level learners, where we can practice following along with the Korean subtitles and simply refer to the English subtitles occasionally if we lose the thread or to confirm we're understanding correctly.
Also Morning is great to study with and I highly recommend her lessons. :)

    안녕하세요 모닝 👋😊
Very interesting and useful video 😊
I began to learn korean a few weeks ago, but sometimes, I feel like completely lost because I would like to learn many things in the same time 😅
But I understood this is the best way to... be digusted and finally give up 😢
I try to convince myself that korean (language) learning must be fun at first, even if you often have to work seriously and be strict and organized in learning process.
So when I watched your videos, I said : "Wow so funny and really useful! 😲 Why haven't I learn English in that way? So, let's try!"
So, I started to watch your videos/shorts and other korean teachers' and youtubers' ones (and I keep going 💪😄), I write new words in my vocabulary book, I quote some expressions in it, I try to read korean subtitles during conversations (so hard to follow 😅 but so necessary), and I try to speak to myself after seeing your videos just to hear and correct my pronounciation (even though it's so weird 😅😂).
Language learning can be difficult, even more when you're alone, but I decided I won't give up and I'm eager to learn korean more and more, thanks to people like you 😊
All languages have their difficult parts, but if we learn the rules and take care about exceptions, it can be possible, even easy, to learn any language 😊
Think about French language and our tense system 😅 or plural forms 🫣
I'm not able to make great sentences and read very fluently 😅, but I don't take that as a fail. I just learn in my own rhythm 😊
To my mind, the most important when you learn any language is to be tolerant and open-minded ✌️😁
My studies in university (I studied in applied languages) helped me to get this way of thinking.
    다댄히 감사합니다, 모닝 선생님 ❤
Thank you so much for your hard work and your comments. I feel very grateful and honoured to read you 😊
Please take care of you and see you later ❤
    안녕 👋 😘

Hi, i'm french, i took lessons with another korean teacher from italki too, i didn't take your lessons but i want to take lessons with you too to improve my speaking. I'm on the start of intermediate level, low intermediate level, i know a lot of korean grammar but my speaking skill is lower than intermediate arg. My teacher told me that i have difficulty with the final consonnant o and double consonnant, we don't have these sounds in french. Before taking lessons with a teacher, i start to learn alone, the alphabet etc with a book but when i started to learn grammar, it's so difficult alone i didn't understand why final consonant sound change for example and i gave up.
I started again to learn with a teacher and i made progress faster. For the consonnant change, i realize i need just to memorize it with rules that's all, in french we have a lot of grammar but i realize korean is harder and has more complicated grammar rules lol.
In french, we don't have really consonnant sound who change.
I learned chinese when i was a student, chinese grammar is so easy compared to korean lol, just few grammar, not a lot of grammar rules. But it's speaking that is more difficult. I went to China to study chinese, i didn't speak with right intonation but they can understand me and i can speak chinese because also the grammar is so easy haha, they can guess i'm not chinese even if i'm a french asian, they asked me where i'm from, they were curious and i speak with lot of chinese.
I didn't visit South Korea yet but i learn korean to visit South korea, to discuss with koreans and also understand kdrama without subtitles because i love kdrama too

Wow, you've already been studying Korean on italki! Yes, Korean grammar is a bit complicated and it can be difficult to learn on your own, but don't give up and take it one step at a time. 할 수 있어요! 화이팅💪😀

선생님, I was listening to "rewind" by TWICE and the first part and the most part I like is
    알고 싶지않아 어떻게 지내는지
I know the meaning of the sentence and I know every single word meaning except 지내는지 I'm not sure about its meaning ,can you tell me ??

    • @koreanmorning
      @koreanmorning  3 месяца назад +1

The word "지내는지" comes from the verb "지내다," which means "to live," "to spend time," or "to get along." In the context of the sentence, "지내는지" is used in combination with "알고 싶지 않아" (I don't want to know) to mean "how someone is doing" or "how they’re getting along😄

It’s true that speaking is the best way to practice and improve.. for me however, the challenging part is that I don’t feel that in Korean you can make up sentences as you go.. because of the structure you already have to form the sentence and the ending in your mind (or maybe I’m not proficient enough yet).
