I appreciate wax above honey so after the EXTRUDER process meaning not extracting the classic sling honey process all goes in the solar wax melter. the 7/1 ratio for the bee too make wax/honey doesn’t really count in my Mediterranean region.
My understanding (but I have no experience yet) is that once a wax moth infestation is too-far-gone, the bees won't clean-up and use the comb, despite killing the actual moths with freezing. Not sure if it's true or not. I have wondered if in feral colonies the moths eat the bottom of the comb as the bees move upwards in winter and then the bees would replace it.
Thanks so much for the info...currently having issues with my hives. Appreciate the knowledge 😊

I scraped off all the wax then used my heated power washer to clean the frame, waxed up the frames again to use at a later time.
