Especially people like me love to see more about turkiye...do more of this type of videos often... definitely it will be appreciated .happy new year to both of you guys and have niceday🎉❤
i love bazaar like this...live a month in istanbul and i went to my local bazaar in Balat and the one outside Fatih mosque. I also went to the Findikzade market once. Back in jan-feb 2022 the price was lower than today....but undertandable as lira is very low these days. 1 stall I will miss the most is the one that sell pickles I called the 'pickleman'. I saw him in every market I went...I love the pickles sold by him and I bought 3 empty jars and brought home the pickle in my luggage and it lasted me for almost 1 year.
I absolutely adore your videos. Your Turkish is really great. Also I love how everything looks so fresh, organic and how sweet and accommodating everyone is. May you please post a more extensive video of your shopping for way more things please. 😊♥💖💜
Next month i am going to Istanbul for a month. These tips will definitely help, thank you so much. Do the vendors in these local bazars communicate in English in case we are not good at speaking Turkish?
You need to consider that people earn their salaries in turkish lira. So it is not really cheap for the people living in Turkiye and earning in Turkish lira.
Is not close but is easy to reach from Kadikoy, just take the metro line, exchange in Ayralik Cesmesi to Marmaray towards Gebze, and get out in Küçükyalı Marmaray station, the bazaar is just 1 minutes from that station and is only on Thursdays. You can also take the bus number 4,16 or 16D from Kadikoy port and get out in Küçükyalı bus stop and from there you just walk about 5 minutes. Cheers!
Should we carry both Liras and Euros while visiting Istanbul . I see museum entry prices and tour prices are mentioned in Euros and the local food experience is in Turkish Liras. So do you suggest carrying both these currencies?
It will be difficult finding pistachios at a good price, everywhere is excessively expensive. Dates, I just bought from a market near my home for 50 TL, it was a small box of approx 300g, depending where they come from is their price, ie (Medina,Bagdad, etc) and they were really good. Try to look at the supermarkets like Migros, Carefour, Cagri, or a bit more expensive place like Macro Center
This Pazar is in district of Maltepe. Quite far from the main touristy areas. You can also find a bazaar in Fatih on wednesdays and Kadıköy on tuesdays.
Most of the time the prices are written but I like to ask just yo see what they say when they realize I’m a foreigner 😀 turns out they have always said the same price as the one written down 🎉

Is in Kuçukyali Asian side. 1 minute away from Kucukyali Marmaray station :)
Im in Kadikoy area now. Where can i get quality pashminas and jewellery like silvers or precious stones? I don't want to go Grand Bazaar.
Berry.. How did u learn turkish language?

Hello there! I would say yes, now that as of 2024 attractions are set in euros, is better having both currencies.
What is the money value to Inr?
If possible , please show your daily routine.
Good idea! Maybe soon I might 😀
@@BeryIstanbulTips yes! Sure!!!.. 😊👍thanks for quick response on my comment♥️😊
Where can i get dry fruit like dates, pistachio at a good price. I'm in Istanbul right now so i wanted to know 😭

Hi bery
Where was this Pazar and on which day

This Pazar is in district of Maltepe. Quite far from the main touristy areas. You can also find a bazaar in Fatih on wednesdays and Kadıköy on tuesdays.
Where is it located exactly?
This specific one is in Küçükyalı Asian side, just 1 minute from Küçükyali Marmaray station.
Is there any local pazars in fatih/sultanahmet area
There is a local bazaar in Fatih on wednesdays. Just next to Fatih Mosque.

🤕🤕🤕
wait a min... they sell bananas by kilo? not in dozens?
How much is one simit this week?
I think like 12 TL, that’s the price from our local fırın now 🥹
Turkey is a nice country but the people are not too friendly I prefer Mexico or Morocco where people are much happier and hospitable ❤😊
Hiç değilse ülkemizdeki durumu açıklayarak yayın yapıyorsunuz enflasyon herkese için çok zor❤
Where is this local bazar in Istanbul
Küçükyalı (Asian side) ☺️
❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
👌👌👍👍🌹☺️
So is it cheap ?
I’d say affordable, yes. Especially clothing and home supplies.
hello
If you dont ask price per kilo are you likely to be cheated?
Most of the time the prices are written but I like to ask just yo see what they say when they realize I’m a foreigner 😀 turns out they have always said the same price as the one written down 🎉
Turkey is too much expensive compared to India
