I am a 58 year old wife, mother and grandmother. Our son lives with us, he has Down Syndrome. Sundays are laundry days for clothing. I launder sheets and towels during the week. I clean during the week when less people are here! I prefer to do it when I'm alone. I try to make sure my sink and counters are clean every night.
I definitely prefer to clean when I’m alone too, I wonder why that is! I like to listen to music or a RUclips video and just get it done with no interruptions!
@@CatherineElainebecause WHEN we are alone we keep busy, but WHEN we are w the family its nice to spend time them.
My Sunday reset is church, chill and small group bible study.....my house can wait.
Cut dollar store pool noodles to size and stuff under the couch- it will keep everything from going under! You can spray paint them black if the color can be seen.

Hey girl- you need to get couch guards to stop the madness!!! When my kiddos were young I was a magnet/school papers on fridge mom - now - NOTHING!!!! Thanks for motivation today!!

Saturday I wash clothes and Sundays I clean and mop thoroughly because I usually have no babies to watch. My 18 month old grand daughter keeps me on my toes all week . My grandson who is 4 is my little helper. They are so much fun especially during nap time. Lol I spot clean and sweep at night during the week.

At Target, I bought a shallow basket that's kind of long. Great for Entryway or top of your dresser. Makes it easier to wipe furniture down if I put odds and ends in it!

I had the same issue with my puppy getting things under furnite so I went to Lowe's and use pool noodles are bumpers. Dust still gets under furniture but I don't have any lost kongs

I work a full time job from home and also have 2 boys who do online homeschooling. I feel guilty because my house always looks like a tornado tore through it. I need to start a weekend cleaning program.
You have a beautiful home
As a single woman, i spent my Sunday taking shampoo/body wash to a homeless shelter, and helping a homeless lady try to charge her car battery and put some gas in her car. Ok, i also got a massage.
I change sheets once a week but I wash one rooms bedding once a month. I found having 2 sets of sheets for each bed worked best and they are all ivory colored so I can wash one load of sheets during the week and just focus on bedding on the weekends. I use to use the steam mop once a week on the lvp but it started wearing spots in places so warch for that.
In your bedroom you need to put your bed caddy corner if you know what I mean it helps small spaces Try It I love your channel This is advice from a southern girl from Miss.😂

Sunday reset for me is deep cleaning my room and the rest of the house. I don’t have little ones at home anymore but still have kids at home.

I'm not sure what it is called, but Amazon has this thing that is adhesive, and it sticks to the floor and makes a barrier specifically to block toys and things from going under furniture (:

You make me feel guilty. I have a busy week. I have been in pain for months. I am doing the bare minimum.
I wash clothes, have dishes wash by the dishwasher, I buy groceries hoping to cook. Cleaned the most basics in bathroom: toilet, sink, spray the wall of our shower/tub and squirt dish washing soap in the tub, it gets the tub and the wall cleaner the quickest, with the least effort.
Your bare minimum is the best you can do under the circumstances and you shouldn’t feel guilty for that. I never intend to make anyone feel guilty, I’m just trying to motivate and inspire. I hope that whatever pain you’re dealing with gets better for you soon 😞

What's the big deal about scrub daddy? Why is it better than a regular sponge? Does it last longer or something?
They really are the best. I find they hold the dish soap really well so I use less and it lathers up more. Also they clean anything that’s stuck on really well without scratching. And they rinse clean even if you clean something nasty with them!
